Im going for both, and plan on maybe using the fish I caught and cooking it for cooking exp. However, fishing is a higher priority that cooking, so I want to judge it based on that.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What the fastest rates for gaining exp? Should I fly fish at Shilo, or catch monks? I heard fly fishing is faster, but are the fish going to decent enough for cooking exp?

For fishing experience, fly fishing does give more exp than monkfish but since you want 99 cooking as well, the monkfish would give a lot better cooking experience.

fly fish like until lvl 74-76 then catch monkfish.

Go for the monkfish, salmon and trout will take very long time to cook :P so I suggest monks

i say catch and cook lobs until u stop burning monks. Then go monks all the way

You never stop burning monks, so I'd start with them instead of messing with lobsters.
