SirHartlar
I am wondering whether it is worth wearing my ring of wealth at dust devils. If I wear it, will I get better drops overall or just a better chance of better items? Is it worth wearing it or not? Thanks.
timmay929
It increases your chances of getting a better drop, not every drop will be better. And, if it's the best ring you have then you should wear it. 122 Combat : 99 Hits : 99 Attack : 99 Strength97/99 Defence : 99 Fletching : 99 Woodcutting
spikethebloody
Yes it is worth it, it could be the difference between a kebab and a chainbody. fudgy999 is mean :-( throw rocks at him.
raylifes
ethebloody"]Yes it is worth it, it could be the difference between a kebab and a chainbody. Since a kebab isn't a rare item what you said doesn't make sense..... The workings of the ring of wealth are explained by guthix. 1) If thou consider the possessions of an enemy to be like a roulette wheel, then the 'rare' items so coveted by players are located on a second roulette wheel, that will only be spun shouldst thou roll a specific number on the first wheel. The ring of wealth affects not the number which thou may achieve upon the first wheel, but should thou gain the precise number to allow thee access to the second, the ring will make thy chances of gaining an object on that second roulette wheel all the greater. My analogy is flawed, for death is not like roulette, but I hope that thou see the truth within this. I am wondering whether it is worth wearing my ring of wealth at dust devils. If I wear it, will I get better drops overall or just a better chance of better items? Is it worth wearing it or not? Thanks. So no, it would not mean overall better drops, but just a better chance at that shiny chainbody. ;)
alphakoldes
I'm down there sometimes, and when I meet people who've gotten chains down there, they said that they always have RoW on. I use it, too. -Man, I really do love Runescape, and I'm sure if it was a real person I would of asked it to marry me by now.
SirHartlar
Ok thanks, I have 4496 to kill for 80 Attack & Strength so I don't think it would hurt me to have a RoW on. Thanks for the advice people, this can be locked now. :D

yeoldecorvette
~The Ring of Wealth increases your chance of getting rare drops. It does not increase the chance of every drop being good though. So, that means the Dragon Chainbody will occur more often while wearing a Ring of Wealth. Assuming you want a Chain, wear it.~ ~Goodluck.~ ~Homer~
