I just tanned over 300 hard leather, and now it says I need a crafting of 26 to tan that. Now what? Did I need to start with soft leather?

I spent hours getting those hides, now I have over 300 hard leathers, that I can't use. I guess I am starting over.

With soft leather, you can make gloves, boots, chaps, etc. With hard leather, you can only make hard leather bodies. All depends on what you want to make.

k heres my quicky newbie guide.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

first , get 1k gold, 2 needles and 100 thread (craft shop in al kharid). now go kill cows till u full inventory of leather. walk to the desert and go to tanner. make all the leathers into soft leather. then use your needle on the leather and make the highest thing u can. once u finished sewing them all, walk east to the general store and sell everything u made. walk north to the craft shop, buy 100 more thread. rinse, repeat till u get bored.

 

 

 

from what i remembered, i never ran outta money, thread or needles. keep this up till u hit pretty darn high lvl crafting.

 

 

 

another good tip, do this on f2p worlds cuz most of the newbies there leave the leather on the ground so u dont have to even kill a cow. kewl huh?

Just kill cows and get cowhides to tan at alkahrid and use a needle and thread to make stuff. :XD:
