January 28, 200719 yr What is teh best way for a non member to get crafting XP? I have clay, but don't know how to make pots. Advice?
January 28, 200719 yr Kill a bunch of cows and make hardleather bodies. Mine silver, smith it and make tiaras. Keep all gems you get from training, then make jewelery. Come to #tip-it on Swift IRC, if you're cool
January 28, 200719 yr I see, go buy some cowides or kill cows untill you get about 300 cowhides, then go tan the hides in alkarid. Make the best leather item you can Come to #tip-it on Swift IRC, if you're cool
January 28, 200719 yr Yeah, Cowhides give the best experience for the money. Silver works too, but it can get pricey at high amounts. Retired Member

January 28, 200719 yr Al-Kharid is in the desert east of Lumbridge(start/respawn point). You can easily buy cowhides in the bank on popular world 1 or any crowded worlds.
January 28, 200719 yr Cowhides can be obtained by killing Cow in the field (north-east Lumbridge/south of Falador) or they can be bought from other players (100-150ea).
January 28, 200719 yr Author 100 is a lot when most people just kill cows for XP and you can just pick up the cowhide. I already have 75
January 28, 200719 yr 100 is a lot when most people just kill cows for XP and you can just pick up the cowhide. I already have 75 True, but as you gain more levels it will taker more cowhides it boost your crafting, so people would rather save time by buying cowhides rather than killing cows. I know I'm not up for the challenge to kill 5k+ cows and run back and forth to the bank for one crafting level.
January 28, 200719 yr You make pots by using a jug of water (use jug with water source), with the clay to make wet clay, then use the wet clay with a potters wheel to make an unfired pot, then use the pot with the pottery oven. These things are both in the Barbarian Village. Try using this guide, http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=crafting_guide.htm, its from the tip it site. ~Ddaanniiellh : 1437 : 173Lowest Combat to 1,000 Total in F2P (23 Combat)Check me out on YouTube!
