lobsta
I recently bought the parts for a new computer and assembled it my self, which is the first time i've ever put together a computer. Mobo: Asus M2N-SLi Deluxe (Socket AM2) CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5000+ 2.60GHz PSU: OCZ GameXStream 700w Silent SLI Ready ATX2 Power Supply RAM: GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC5300 667MHz Value DDR2 Dual Channel Kit GFX: BFG 7600GT HDD: WD 500GB After a few teething problems getting the computer up and running, I finally managed it. I began to install VISTA Ultimate OEM and every thing seemed fine. However, when the little cursor appears, (just before the desktop is loaded/visible), my computer keeps restarting. I've tried booting up in safe mode but to no avail. Is this a software or hardware problem? Any help would be very much appreciated! The Observer
Just feel the computer as it starts up. If it seems a little too hot then that's the case.
