The easiest is probably using Stun. I'm not sure how fast it would be though. Pest Control might be fast if you find a good clan for it.

50 dmg is easy work

~You open the Elemental Balance (and do not offer a prize, unless you want to.) Then get a Mystic Mud Staff and Soul Runes and cast Stun on the Balance. Reapeat.~

I heard that you have to use an elemental spell that matches the color of the balance, but I don't know, the source might have been wrong, forgot where the source was from though. :x

Ice burst in pc would be cheaper and more effective. I alched to 95 and enchanted in the mage training arena from 95-99, but that was before PC was released.

well, it's 3/4 of standard exp, so you can figure it out off that.

From what I have heard, ice burst is the fastest (costing ~1k per cast), but IDK how many casts you would need.

~It's still not worth it to spend 50M more, even if it takes another month...~

I think barrows might be a profitable way to train it, by using charge and god spells.
