could someone tell me why rune warhammers have become more popular? last time i checked, they were only 10k.

They are used for some equip/emote clues.

Few Treasure Trial clues require a Rune Warhammer to receive the next clue. Many players get this clue and there are not many Rune Warhammers available ingame, leaving the demand for this item to rise.

yeah i was equipped with one of those the other week just coming back from the guild mining and someone offered me 30k which i accepted :mrgreen:
