~The fastest way is Hardleather bodies. Granted you lose 150-200 gp per body, they are extremely fast. You can get to 99 Crafting and lose only 65M. Heh, only...You could also buy Flax and make Bowstrings. You get dismal experience, but you almost double your cash.~

Well just keep in mind that crafting to 99 in a way that will cause you to break even or make money, will take a long time. I've heard that crafting jewelry can be profitable, but you need a lot of patience to sell several thousand amulets and such. Also, if you're patient enough to wait for good deals on green dragonhides, then alch them, you can make a profit or at least break even.

Well at the level you are at currently you should go with leather. Then once you get up to the level where you can make Amulets of Glory you can make a free Glory crafting shop, that will give you fast experience.

The money begins to come in once you hit 90. You can then craft Fury's, you can charge people 25k-50k plus their materials for them.

With this method, you should be able to break even.

Last time I checked (a few weeks ago), they were about 1.5k - 1.8k. You could post on the Price Checks thread in the Marketplace forum.

well tbh,

there is no fast, easy, cheap way of getting crafting 99, or any 99 for that matter.

99 Crafting is a difficult road, and from lvl 48, you need over 12.9M xp.

It's one of those skills that you can do it in ways where you make loads of cash, but it is the long way. If you want to get the lvls quick, its very not too difficult with a lot of cash.

Quick levels require cash.

Slow(er) levels get you cash. I get my own materials, and craft battle staves. Buy them in Yanille, Moonclan Island or Varrock, craft your own orb (more crafting exp) charge it (magic exp) attach (LOAD of crafting exp) and high-alch. All kinds alch for the same amount of money, 9300 gp if I'm correct.

If you want to get it from crafting dragon hides, you should get your own. else it's a money pit. A bottom-less one.

Agreed! And as a matter a fact; I've became pretty tired of so many players yelling about getting 99 fast or getting millions gp in a day... A little sense of reality would be nice, at least here on the tip forums...

But sorry, will quit ranting.. :-# ,

Start reading some craftingguides and do some decent levelling (into the 70-ties) before you decide you want 99 crafting badly..

This is the only surefire, guaranteed way to make money crafting.

Just make sure you do the "Hand in the Sand" Quest for free sand, and gather your own seaweed/soda ash from charter crewmembers. That way, you can get molten glass cheap, and not have to pay 1K each.

Then you're guaranteed a good 1K profit on a 9.3K Battlestaff.

The problem is, it can be rather slow going. Especially collecting the battlestaves.

well as i have 99 crafting what i did was:

up to 80 - cow hides , and flax - (did some rings, amulets i needed aswell)

then 80+ i did blue dragon hides - its a loss of money but fast XP

now if you craft ure nats, and buy green d hides for 1.5k ea, you can break even... and is reletively fast (excluding the alching ;)

well good luck :D
