70 - 80 Ranged

Ok, to start this topic let me make it clear that I DO NOT want to Pest Control ANY of my ranged experience.

One of my goals is to get my ranged level from 70 all the way up to 80. I have a few ideas about how to do it, but I am not sure what the best way to go about it is.

I have considered ranging Dust Devils, Hell Hounds, Greater Demons and pssibly Blue Dragons. How many bronze/iron/steel arrows will I need to secure 80 ranged? Any other training locations that are good experience and not costly are also appreciated. Thanks. :D

You need to earn, at most, 1,248,441 in Range exp.

If you don't pick up your arrows then you will need about:

Bronze: 65750

Iron: 65050

Steel: 58400

If you do pick them up, then you will need about:

Bronze: 16440

Iron: 16260

Steel: 14600

Casting a Curse on the monster first can sometimes

make it easier to pick up your arrows with the loot pile.

I got to 80 Ranging (in F2P) using the 2 Lesser Demons on the top of Crandor Island.

Hope this helps

I suggest you use either fire giants of the greaters in the ogre enclave. At greater you can't pick up the arrows, but the great number of lvl 3 clues will make up for the cost. Fire giants are often crouded.

I went from 50 range all the way to 97 by training slayer. Most tasks have a safe spot. The different slayer assignments broke up the monotony of just standing there hitting fire giants over and over.

Plus you train range, hits and slayer all at once
