Attack style

Is there any place where is listed which attack style is best against some monsters, which atleast I can't figure out which is best.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As an example giants and ice giants. Is the best style Slash Crush or Stab?

It dosn't matter, monsters don't have a weak attack style, they do have a weak attack form, like ice monsters get hit harder with fire spalls then water spells. It also depends on the weapon you are using, like you wouldn't use a scimmy to train attack you would use a long, because the long gives more attack bouns then a scimmy does, a scimmy would be used for training strength.

Actually, monsters do have weak attack styles. I don't know the particular weakness of any monster, but they have them.

I'm training attack, so it's not good to use scimmy while trainint attack against ice giants? Should I go buy a rune long, or do I take my b-axe from bank? Is the difference vast?

Just stick to the scimitar for attack training. I haven't heard of people using longs specifically for attack before..
