Bludragon124
Fail curse is one of the easiest ways to level magic cheaply, if you have a lot of spare time. What you do, is dress in the WORST mage bonus you have, equip a mudstaff, and trap a man/something else behind a table or something, so they can't hit you. Then you just cast curse, it fails, you get the xp, and you do it again: so it never hits, and you get the xp. Noted raw mackerel drop... Wtfh? Always buying: Watermelon seeds, 2K each. Strawberry seeds, 800 each. Contact Via PM on forums.
toast647
Exactly what bludragon said. On my main I wore full rune and bad mage bonuses and failed curses in edgeville so I can still talk to my friends Come to #tip-it on Swift IRC, if you're cool
Goobore
what is a fail curse? Wear any full metal armor. (Bronze will work) Full helm, chest plate, legs, kite shield, SoS boots (or better) will get you to about -68 magic attack stat. If you equip a staff then also wear dragonhide vambraces. I suggest that you Curse in any safe, multi-combat area. (The key room in the Varrock sewers works well) Curse will always give you the full 29 magic exp. If you bought all of the runes required, then you earn about 1 magic exp for every 1 gp spent That's a much better ratio than any Mind, Chaos, or Death rune based spell. Hope this helps

mchainmail
actually using fire strike on salarin the twisted will always hit 12 wich comes to about 2xp per gp i believe. Fire Strike requires a fire staff, 2 air runes (30 gp) and 1 mind rune (20 gp) According to the tip.it magic guide, Fire strike yields 11.5 exp for casting, + 24 xp (12 * 2) for the damage. So it gives 1 exp per 1.5 gp. Which is still really good.

I dont think you quite understand the dimensions of a pure... You obviously aren't going to playerkill with 10 hitpoints... You get the hitpoints from other levels, such as range and strength. Also, splashing curse is considerably cheaper than other methods. Please explain to me why people alch? They get no hitpoint xp from that.

Gin_and_Tonic
well you have to do something with all the nats you make from rcing Erm, why do people buy the nature runes then? For example, pures by them to alch with... Ever heard of super heat item? That uses nats.

Gin_and_Tonic
no clue why?? umm maby money? or just caus?? no clue really. why dont you go ask a pure I have a pure. In fact, my friend, another 10hitpoints pure, has level 82 mage, still with 10hp... This is why people alch - So they can get high mage levels, with low hitpoint levels. Shes going for the 99 mage cape, with 10hitpoints. Believe me, i have 99 fletching, have sold over 200k yew long bows, all to alchers! Most of the alchers brought the nats, and none of them made them... They want mage levels, without the hitpoint levels. Alching and cursing is also very easy, compared to risking your runes killing NPCS

Gin_and_Tonic
lol i can kill you with a steel arrow \ Not me, my pure had 71 mage with about 60 hitpoints i got from range and melee stats. However, my 10hp friend doesn't intend to playerkill, just get the cape and then skill.
