Slayer Dart at Barrows

Featured Replies

Is the only reason slayer dart is good for barrows is because you get minds and deaths at the end or does it hit considerably well?

ok ty cause right now im on a slayer spree to get to 55 for it im 52 at the moment

I think the max hit is 10+(Your magic level/10). Rounded down.

So if you had 50 mage, your max hit would be 15, while at 99 it would be 19.

Slayer dart is used because it hits considerably good. It is true that the higher your magic level the more you hit but that is the same with any spell

Slayer dart's damage does depend on your magic level, I believe it is the only spell that hits higher as you grow level because you can hit your maximum damage with say fire bolt when you get to the level you need to cast it.

Slayer dart is the best spell for Barrows because you get the runes back when you complete a run.

damage doesn't increase as you get a higher magic level, you just get a chance to hit harder more often like any damaging spell

damage of magic dart does indeed increase as you get a higher magic lvl.

I have been hitting 16 max and when I made 70+magic I hit 17 max now.

I've hit 19 at magic 69, now at magic 78 I still can hit 19 which is the max damage

Also, did you know that if a person with 99 mage potted beyond 100, they could hit 20?

Just to clear thing up: Slayer dart (magic dart) requires 50 magic to cast. It is the most cost effective spell, especially in barrows where you get your runes back at the chest. It is affected by mage bonus, bt when fighting the barrows brother you will hardly notice it because their magic defence is very low. Wearing rune while amging will nor be quite as uneffective as usual. In fact, you will hit fairly well with it.

The damage done by slayer (magic) dart:

Unlike other spells, the maximum damage done by slayer dart does increase when you level your magic:

50-59: 15

60-69: 16

70-79:17

80-89: 18

90-99: 19

100+: 20

Yes, it is possible to hit 20 when you have drunk a mage pot or operated your magic cape; I have seen it with my own eyes.

Summary: Slayer dart owns for barrows and is definately worth getting it.

Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.
