meb
I'm getting 70 construction for my altar (I wub my crystal saw), and I have a question about the burners: Does it matter wich burners I use? The guide says they give 50% each but I just want to be sure they are actually all the same. If the bonusses are the same, I will be a less poor man. If not, I better start crafting some more nature runes. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. hyjack01
Incense burners have all same effect, though the marble ones work slightly faster (easier to lit for me)
meb
Incense burners have all same effect, though the marble ones work slightly faster (easier to lit for me) What do you mean by that? Can you fail to light them? Or, in other words, is the additional 650k well spent? hyjack01
just little easier to click.. at least for me.. :) i suppose 650k for this little convenience could be little overdone..
Chartres
I built the marble burners because of this information from the Runescape Knowlege Base: "These values are based upon having the best burners. If you have lower level burners, you will find there is a difference in the experience you will receive." Is there really no difference in the prayer experience you get if you have a lower level burner with a gilded altar? :( Because that was a chunk of change to spend. meb
There is an important extra feature to the altar: depending on your altar and the number of incense burners you have lit, you will be awarded more Prayer experience for the bones you offer. Please note: These values are based upon having the best burners. If you have lower level burners, you will find there is a difference in the experience you will receive. :x Now I still don't know it. Is the tip.it guide right or wrong? *Sigh* Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. chenw
it really depends on when they put it up there, about a few weeks ago my mahogany burners are still providing me with 252xp per dragon bone (max from d bone on guilded altar.) Why dont you try it with say 10 d bones with just normal incense burners and see if it works? 6,924th to 30 hunting, 13,394th to 30 summoning, 52,993rd to 30 DivinationKiln Record (Post-EoC): W 25 - L 0, 14 Uncut Onyx, 8 Jad hits received (Best record: Two in the same kiln)Obby set renewed post update #2: 0QBD drops: 21 crossbow parts, 3 Visages, 1 Kites, 2 KitsMax Port Score [2205] Achieved: 27th April 2013 (World 2nd) Farmyard Rampage ranking: 12th, 50,000 Kills. Straw_Hat
i used my friends marble one maybe lower burners affect the time the burners are lit say marble = approx 90 sec mahog = appro 80 other than that, i can't really see a diff Kaizoku
Chartres
I'll try to do a test too using a friends gilded altar with mahogany burners. If there is no difference in the experience amassed then I will send a query to Jagex, as that particular info in the KB is very misleading if that is the case.
