bars for each type of ore make the same xp... like three addy daggers would be the same xp as an addy 2h o.O

well i never tried gold ores but i think they are... you can only make 5 plates ea inv... therfore you need to be fast going to anvil and back..the fastest xp for me!

Actually, I'm pretty sure gold ores would be faster. Only smelting required, since no smithing is involved. Use Port Ghostie's furnace, and it'll go super fast.

Gold Ore with Gauntlets, thats the fastest way, I think addy pl8s mite be faster if you got all the bars before you start, but its not very cost effence.

I made this excel sheet to calculate how much 85 smithing would cost me. You can see that steel actually the fastest way (for f2p!) because not so many people sell mithril lower then 1.1k ea.
