I was just wondering what monster would be to go mage 63-70, I'll be casting

Fire Blast

 

 

 

Wind wave ( a little)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I ranged fire giants from 55-70 so I kinda got bored of that, could anyone suggest a good monster to mage, decent exp and drops, with a safespot.

Too bad Lesser Demons don't actually drop clue scrolls..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Try caged Greater Demons inside the Ogre Enclave (Watchtower needs complete). Decent drops + xp (fire, chaos, death runes for Fire Blast).

lol yeah greaters sound like a good idea, and they do drop clues, anymore suggestions anyone?

I would have to agree with 'twr', maing the Greaters in the Ogre Enclave. These are great mage and range xp. Just make sure you bring plenty of Telekinetic Grab runes.

I kinda like burning up the Ice Trolls in the (EDIT) Jaitzo Mining cave.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sometimes it's hard getting to the safespot after you engage them (you get hit every now and again), but if you bring about 10-15 lobbies, you can stay down there about an hour.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I've done it twice, the first time I got a granite shield and about 60K in drops (alched 30K worth of stuff and got 40 raw sharks).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Second time I got 3 rune kites, 25K in alchable stuff and 25 raw sharks.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It can get dicey, but you're soooo close to a bank, it's very easy to go back up and restock.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Good for ranging and maging.

Greater Demons. Their drops are "greater" and they are weak to magic. Just be sure to take some high alching runes. :)
