Crafting in f2p

I think Hard Leather bodies are the best way to go. But, you lose lots of cash.

You could always buy uncut gems, and sell them for as much, or more after you cut them.

I've always felt as if I'm the only person who can understand the concept of sarcasm on the internet.

The fastest way to raise crafting in F2P while spending as little as possible would be leather crafting.

Kill the cows outside the guild, tan the hides, craft them, drop them, repeat.

Take 100 Thread, a needle, 20K gp, a weapon, and see how that goes. Use any genie lamps on crafting as you go. Save all gems from randoms for gold crafting later on.

Fast ways to get crafting up in f2p?

Make silver Tiaras

...Oh spending as little as possible

That's gonna make it a lot slower.

I'm in the crafting guild with a couple of buckets making

bowls is this a good idea? I'm 56 crafting btw.

IIRC, you don't need the buckets.

The previous bowls will hold the water.

In F2P you earn crafting exp as:

Silver Tiaras = 52.5

Silver Holy symbols = 50

Hard leather = 35

Clay bowl = 33

Gold amulet = 30

So if you want to do it cheaply and in large quantities then you really have only 3 options:

  • * mine silver and/or gold in guild, walk to fally, bank, repeat. Then smelt and craft in Al-Kharid later. Most walking

    * kill cows next to guild, gather hides, use tanner on second floor of guild, make hard leather, repeat. Medium walking

    * mine clay in guild and make bowls. Least walking

It's not gonna be fast no matter what you do.

You could do each of these for 30 minutes or so and then select whatever works best for you.

Or, get members. You could do it much better there.

(FWIW, I got to level 75 in F2P using silver)

Hope this helps

Good at begining, but theres one way, instead of droping them run to the genral store and sell, the min sell for 12 ea no matter how many you sell, this way you making money.

+1, this definitely works if you have little money, Plus theres a crafting store in rimmington too if you run out of thread and you can buy there.
