New ability fro player mods

What if when the mod presses the "freeze" button, It doesn't actually "freeze" the player like one of those ancient magic ice spells. Instead, it just disallows the player from doing anything - walking, clicking, or getting damaged. The only thing that can be done when "frozen" is chat. The PMod would say som, ething like "If you're not an autoer, say [insert randowm word here]". Then the person says it, and the PMod lifts the freeze. That way, the only way a PMod could abuse this feature is if they annoy someone by repeatedly freezing them. I don't think anyone would risk giving up PMod status just to annoy someone a couple of times, right?

But yeah, there's the issue of how to stop PMods from freezing you all the time if you act close to like an autoer in game. (Like if you are low level, and you cut a lot of yews, you might get frozzen alot.)

That was the idea...I didn't for it to act like an ancient magic spell...And if you are a low level skiller then that is a sacrifice that should be easily understood, it's hard to trust many low level skillers nowadays, at least to me

Perhaps to 'unfreeze,' a screen similar to the bank pin appears. It gives a number at the top of the screen for you to enter. Don't think Autoers could get past this.

Yea....but Jagex should be the final one to decide if they would ever implement this...

I wish Jagex would do something about autoers...its disheartening trying to get 99 wc with level 3 autoers just passing you easily...

With a few tweaks mentioned within this thread already, this could become a working addition... I will support it for now, until somebody provides me with proof that it would NEVER work.

what if mod did it outside of wildy to some one in wildy and got them killed =-s or some one at kalphites or something like that so yeah it still can be abused.

I'll support, but I'm dropping a refined idea to be implemented in here...

A maximum of 5 times a RuneScape session, and no closer than 1 hour between each freeze, P-Mods may, at their discretion, long as you're not in combat or in a "pvp area", hit you with a "check display", which would stop your character from being attacked or doing anything until the check is completed properly. In this check, you would be provided with a randomly generated image, in which there was enough "image noise" to defeat any macro program, and only a human could input the text sequence to tell the system they are human. The text sequence would be at least 6 to 8 characters, and would seem like total nonsense that just simply needed to be typed in the input field.

I think that will be enough to defeat a macroer and not really hinder a normal player. Normal players should be smart enough to use the "report abuse" button to report a bad pmod for breaking the "misuse of customer support" rule anyway! Further, these checks should be enough to break a macro instantly, causing it to lose connection, which will signal Jagex on the spot.
