According to the guide, air runes can be found in the Lumbridge Swamp. Having scoured the swamp for a while, I can find no air runes. They're also supposed to be on Karamja, but I can't figure out how to get there to look for them. How do I get air runes?

I don't know about the swamp, but in Karamanja, they are behind the bannana guy's house. :wink:

Well first of all let me point out that you can also craft your own runes, if you read the runecrafting guide. Second of all, South of falador you will find port sarim, Talk to one of the sailors there and they will transport you to Karamja for a fee of 30 gp. As you exit the boat walk down the dock plank thingy-ma-bob and you shall see a little hut, behind that is the air rune spawn.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Edit: The air rune spawns will take a while and wont offer many runes so id definately recommend the runecraft option.

You can buy air runes all you want, just for the right price. If you want lower amounts like 1-1k, I would go with buying from the store For around 10 each or so?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you want bigger amounts like 1K-100K for around 20 each, then try world 1 varrock west bank, you can find out where people sell air runes in the bank by clicking on my guide for the Varrock West Bank.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you want even more air runes like 100k-1M, then try reading the runescape forums uder runes or these forums.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If your 'poor' and have no money and need air runes like you sound, you can get them faster then waiting for the airs to respawn, simply do rune mysties quest mine your amount of air you want in ess and craft them, it will go by so much faster and you will be getting skills witch will come in handy when you become a higher level with better grammer

I think the air rune spawn that is said to be in lumbridge swamp is actually in lumbridge forest, just east of the prison near draynor

Just make them, it would take forever picking them up and waiting for them to spawn. :lol:

You can also talk to the trainers in Lumby, like the melee guy, and the range and mage people, but you only get about 10 or 20 air runes maybe.

talk to the mage trainer, he will give you like 25 airs and 25 minds or so. if you buy an earth staff (about 1500 gp) you can cast earth strike, which is really good mage exp. Also, try w16 air crafting. You go inside the air altar with 25 ess. You can trade 25 ess for 125 airs and 25 ess.

Where is the mage trainer located? It's been a long time since I saw him. The first and only time. Because I am a lowly noob mage. I got my fighting skills up and then found out that I didn't have the faintest idea how to use runes in RUNEQuest.

Personally I would buy a staff of air and have unlimited airs, airs are needed in a fair few spells and I use the airstaff nearly all the time when training mage.
