Ranged from 60 to 70

I was thinking about training at blue dragons.....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'm now 52 smithing and im raising it to 70, first 60 with steel bars and then 70 with mithril

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When I get 70 I will have 86985 Mithril arrow heads, that is 86985 Mithril arrows lol

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

With those arrows.....I think I can get 70 ranged, Am I correct?

From the high score listings, you have a range level of 60.86.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

20k mith arrows can get you to 68.5 if you do not pick up or 79 if you do.

 

 

 

22k mith arrows can get you to 70 if you do not pick up or you need only 5500 if you do pick them up.

 

 

 

86985 mith arrows can get you to 80 if you do not pick up or 94 if you do.

um, yeah, 10k could probably get you to 70+ if you pick em up, or you could just make all 80k+ and range w/o picking up, and still have a huge amount of range levels gainied

Time will be the killler making all the bars, then all the arrow heads - not to mention getting shafts/feathers!!

If you range your blues at the Ogre enclave (or whatever it's called, where the Ogre Shamans are) you can range them, have just enough time to pick up your arrows and the next will respawn. Great safe spots and usually not crowded.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you have access to range pots, bring some, otherwise blues can be slow going at first. A range pot will give you 10 range levels (takes mine from 62 to 72) and makes a huge difference in how efficient I can range them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Best of luck. I'm working on the same goal as you 60 to 70 range. I do get slowed down quite a bit because I bank all the dragon bones (to ecto) and hides (for crafting), but it's a fast dueling ring to the cw bank and walk back.

Look into soloing the blast furnace. Will only need 1/2 the coal, and you can buy it cheap there.

I know that, I'm gonna get 60 smithing with 2522 steel bars, then I'm going to blast furnace to use the anvils (60+ smithing required) Then I'm gonna make the mithril bars

That's alot of arrows... ranging blue dragons will get you mucho moneys if you pick up hides + bones and bank them... and that many arrows will EASILY get you 70 ranged.
