March 1, 200719 yr I recently took apart my old computer and took out the 3.1 floppy and hardrive out of it. I installed the floppy, and just now i slaved my old hard-drive onto my computer... I was wondering if there is anything unique i could do with two hard-drives....and I also was wondering if i could take the OS off my old hard-drive, and it would still function properly. Also any other useful information, i'd be glad to hear.
March 2, 200719 yr Not a lot to do with but store files and programs on it. It's only a hard drive after all. Depending on the size it would make for a good music storage space or whatever other files you might have laying around. As for the second question, yes you can remove the old OS from the drive and still have it function properly. Just make sure you're removing the old OS and not your current one. :P
