Anyway, ragging on Jews has never actually been a problem within my group. We've got a rabid Israeli Jew and we crack jokes about Hitler and candles around him every now and then, and he just responds by bringing up embarrassing things like Chiang Kai Shek and DDR.

As for the education problem, your parents wouldn't just leave you without education, keep on reasoning with them and you will eventually win. Anyway, sounds like a bad school to me. This kind of things are never to be seen where I live, and I've went to like 4 schools in my life so far, nothing like that happened.

 

 

 

And to ppl complaining about how girls can hit guys and not vice-versa; Well first off, guys have naturally 20% more muscle than girls, so a fight between a girl and a guy would be biaised. Also, I don't see how that's an advantage for the girls. If I was a girl, I'd be angry to not to treated like everyone and to be treated as if I was weak. Also, than 'advantage' barely makes up for all the sexist things to girls in our society.

You sure? :-s I took karate lessons when I was younger and fighting a girl is not fun. They hit you as hard as boys and they can resist even more.

Yup im positive about the 20% more muscle thing. It's true that girls however are known to be more endurant to prolonged physical activity than guys. But in a fight, it doesn't apply, because endurance is something totally different than resistance to pain/damage.

And grim, I guess it's sexist, but guys are different from girls anyways. A guy hitting a guy is different from a girl hitting a guy, especially in our society.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Think about it. In our society if a girl slaps a guy, not only will it not do that much damage (generally), but the guy is expected to take it and not strike back. If a guy hits a girl, well, it just looks abusive and wrong. It's sexist, but it's how our society works.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If anyone, regardless of gender, even as much as lays a finger on me without my permission. I'd hit. And it hit back hard.

One time, I was sitting at a table in our school cafeteria with two guys and a girl. A male friend of mine walked up and said, "Kayla... I really think I broke my hand yesterday. Will you take a look at it?" He looked like he was in a lot of pain and his hand looked absolutely terrible. I asked him what he had done to it. He said that he was working on his car the day before and that he dropped a whole engine on top of it. :\

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I asked my friend to put his hand flat on the table if he could. He agreed and set his hand down, wincing. He couldn't lay it flat on the table. Just as I was telling him that he needed to check out of school and go to the hospital, the girl sitting beside me laughed, rose her fist up in the air, and slammed it down as hard as she could on my friend's BROKEN HAND.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

She sat there laughing as he screamed and grabbed his hand. Then he punched her in the ribs with his good hand HARD. I didn't blame him AT ALL. Then he walked away on the verge of tears to get some ice from the kitchen in the cafeteria to put on it. The moment he hit her, she shut up and got pissed. After he walked away, she started going off to me and the other two guys at the table about how she was a girl and my friend shouldn't have hit her. I calmly explained to her that she sat there and watched and listened to our exchange of dialog and that I had no idea what possessed her to hit someone's broken hand. I never talked to her again after that.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The thing is, if a girl hits a guy, she shouldn't sit back and laugh like she's got some sort of immunity. I have no problem with a guy hitting a girl back if she hits him first.

I'd have to say I hold the same, or similar view. That girl you were sitting next to has some serious issues. Beyond cruel comes to mind. Oath, if a girl did that to me, I'm pretty sure I might just lose it there and then. I'm particularly distasteful of those girls who think that they're untouchable just because of their gender. Yes, women are weaker, and that should be factored in, but in such occasions as outlined above.
