Elessar3019
Following is a list of all the updates Jagex talked about in the March BTS. I'm keeping a running tally on which ones get done. Big music update - March 6 Great Brain Robbery (quest) - March 6 New Temple Trekking Route - Still waiting... Cave Goblin City - Still waiting... Agility Course - Still waiting... Slayer Monster - Still waiting... Farm Animal Makeovers - Still waiting... Varrock Palace Secret Guard (quest) - Still waiting... Fishing Trawler improvement - Still waiting... So there it is. I'll edit this after new updates to the game. perfect grammar is one thing, typing like a drugged monkey and enjoying it is anotherAMEN!

wakka102
This just sounds like a way to take shots at Jagex. They are doing there best. be glad you even get weekly updates and just let them release things when they do :notalk: . They didn't "promise" anything. Maybe I took this the wrong way. It just sounded like a stuck up thread when I read it...
Elessar3019
Sorry about that, Wakka. I just re-read it and it did seem a bit, well, accusatory. I've changed it a bit. perfect grammar is one thing, typing like a drugged monkey and enjoying it is anotherAMEN!

CubeMage128
If you are posting this because of that "Seers" update from February, I'm sure you'll find that Jagex rarely falls back on their promises for the month. They simply fall back on the overly inflated player's expectations. The "Seers" update last month was the shadow sword miniquest, and also hinted toward more of those types of secret updates in the coming months. wakka102
Sorry about that, Wakka. I just re-read it and it did seem a bit, well, accusatory. I've changed it a bit.glad to see you noticed, I figured I'd get flamed  . The thing is, if Jagex released really really good updates every month, the game would change too fast. A strong armor could come out one month, prices would be high, the hype for it would be big, and then an even stronger armor comes out the next month the market for it crashes. You eventually get to the point where there like 50 different types of armor and the market is waaaay too big. Jagex usually released 4-5 really good updates a year which I think is a good pace. Just enjoy the little bonuses and things they give for smaller quests and the fun in doing the updates (even if they aren't worth much).

Maybe Jagex should make a monthly update that isn't a waste of time or completly meaningless to the game. These little quests are just stupid, and we rarely get anything worth our time on updates, mainly because their putting time into these silly quests. Maybe if they did a monthly update, we would get some items or quest worth doing or getting. Shot at 2007-07-

Yeah, it might be interesting if they did that once in a while - just release something without telling us about it or previewing it 3 weeks in advance. perfect grammar is one thing, typing like a drugged monkey and enjoying it is anotherAMEN! After all all that coding takes awhile. And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command.
