Hmm, I just thought of something.

You don't have to be officially quit/active. Usually it doesn't mean anything when people say they are quitting forever/playing forever. Just play when you want to, and just decide by the day. ^_^

Jeez pull a quote out of Harry Potter and I get 2 pages worth of responses. Let me correct myself...

I play Runescape again, but I can't find anything to do. #-o so far I've been doing Castle Wars for days, so I got some cool stuff....but still.

It's not so much the fact I want you to try and convince me to come back :^o it's just I want you to tell me something to do. That you do...henceforth, why you play.

There's a quote from a book that answers this well, so I tracked it down, and edited it so it would fit better.

So if people could please supply me with some reasons to come back, that'd be appreciated, because right now I just don't see any to.

"[We] can't. It would be [our] reason...If [we] give you a reason, then you will use that reason either to reject [returning]or to shift responsibility onto us..."

Going over that, I did butcher it some, but the point remains...we cannot make your decisions, because then it wouldn't be yours, and you could use our reasonings as a reason not to join.

Basically, the final choice is yours alone.

Is that Drizzt?

I quite Runescape a fair amount of time ago in favor of World of Warcraft, but now I'm bored of that, bored of Guild Wars, so I was wondering why everybody here actually PLAYS Runescape (Rather, why it's worthy to P2P because I've already done all F2P quests and most of their skills I'm pro in) I also have a very nice house I highly regretted abandoning, so that's kind of why I wanted to come back, but the rest of the game...is just, off. So if people could please supply me with some reasons to come back, that'd be appreciated, because right now I just don't see any to.

<.< :ohnoes: :boohoo:

Probably because people that play that play RuneScape are more goal oriented, and it's free and only 5 dollars a month for advance membership, where as WoW or GW are like 30-40 dollars to by the game and 15 dollars a month 9 i know WoW is but i'm not sure about GW).

Well, really, only you can decide why you want to play.

Generally speaking, the 4 big reasons to play (given by MMORPGers) are:

1) Socializing. Chatting, teaming, PC, etc

2) PKing, beating other players

3) Getting (a) high skill-total/level/money/wealth

4) Exploring a huge virtual world.

So, what do you think of the above activities?

Boring? Exciting? Don't know?

We can tell you why we play (I'm #3 and #4),

but only you can decide what you enjoy

and hence, decide on a reason to play.

Hope this (somehow) helps

IIRC, Guild wars is free to play but only after you pay $20-$40 for the game.

Each expansion is another $20-$40

Everquest is about $14 per month as well as $20-$40 for each new expansion.

Everquest does have a totally free, single zone version of the game though.

IMHO, one of the very best thngs about RS is that

members get free (mostly) weekly updates of the game.

Wow, EQ, and GW all charge their members for updates.

Hope this helps
