RuneScape Information

  1. The article 'The Journey or the Destination?' was brilliant. I am inclined to agree that I have felt that way many times in the past. With the way I am, however, sometimes even the most tedious and boring skills become the most-loved for me, even if their levels might be lower than another skill. (Mining, you've stolen my heart. ) It would appear that I've gotten responses of all kinds towards my article! :) Thank you. Even those who don't quite agree, thanks. ;) 'The Nature of Names' was something I've been feeling for a while. At first, Kurito was just an extension of myself and my personality into a medium of the kind that would allow me to express the kind of personality I wanted to have, to think a certain way and to get people to see me a certain way. But as I've progressed over the years, I began to realize that I was thinking things like, "I wonder what Kurito thinks of me now that I've not been playing with her for a month." And the realization only came to full fruition recently. I realize this might be a bit silly, but I doubt I would have thought of anything of the sort if she didn't have a name-name, rather than a words/numbers-name. Of course, I fully realize that not all people think as I do, so I respect their opinions. Haha, I think I've read that one! Was very entertaining. And of course, I do feel it is important to put your feelings into a name, and to do otherwise would be downright silly--you'd feel no love at all for it!
  2. You're banned because uh.... I uh... say so? Also! Banned a second time because I just joined in. :>
  3. I meant "I may be a little late ... bandwagon," because everyone else's said it already.
  4. May be a little late jumping on the bandwagon, but good for you, Iowa.
  5. EDIT: They fixed it. But added something equally amusing.
  6. A hypothetical question really. You certainly can't put in an order for 10 blue phats in one hit as you cannot physically hold that much cash, but the most expensive item (cracker) would have to tripple its value before the ceiling gp cap woul be met. jagex have plenty of time to deliberate on that eventuality me thinks. but what happens if summoning is a flop, no one likes, it and buys the p hats back for as much as they can and the price [bleep]es exponentially till it hits the max? just a theory no one has taht much money. it could happen though, but certainly not in a week. maby in a few years, when theres only 1 or 2 of them. but then there wouldnt be a market for them, it would really only be 1 or 2 people having one and maby another person trying to get enough money to get it. a market takes more than 2 people. Not possible. In order to keep the economy running, there are Jagex-employed users with an infinite amount of rares in their banks. Whenever there's notice of a number of rares disappearing, they're placed back on the market covertly to rebalance the economy.
  7. One of the longest run-on sentences I've seen yet. What interests me about that is that it is both on- and off- topic at the same time. Anyways... WOOH, SUMMONING NEXT WEEK. I hope. The calendar says so, though. \
  8. Look at the BTS for January. It says: Defeat, not kill! Likely there will be some way to tame this creature, or speak with it, and it will offer you information and its services within the Summoning skill.
  9. Ah, I just figured it out. The red bird is a phoenix! Maybe. :D Quite possible, if there's a Tzhaar-originating egg(like the ones in the lava), in which case the bird with the yellow cheeks is a bird that does not as of yet have an egg, or comes from the red one.
  10. That "summoning cave" looks like one of the branch-offs from the Canifis-Mort Myre shortcut system.
  11. o-o Try sticking a Karambwanji in it. Maybe Karamthulu eat Karambwanji like Karambwan. :D Or maybe Karamthulu simply eat Karambwan. ...Or sea slugs.
  12. NGFDJGMHMOF WHERE DO I FIND KARAMTHULU? Also, how do I see into the pet shop? What second floor? Tell me!! D:
  13. I'd like to point one thing out. All Pest Control monsters are invariably from The Abyss. Take a look at Shifters, they look so incredibly like Abyssal Demons it's not even funny. They even act the same, teleporting this and that every which way. Anyway, yeah, this is the coolest thread EVER. Someone oughta sticky it or something. I don't want to lose this info.
