Prayer ring/item idea

It's pretty simple. The ring lasts for 15 hours or so, and while you have it equipped, except in the wilderness, you can use any non-protective or any of the 3 new prayers as long as you want. It would be useful for training to have increased stats (the 15% boosts) or for a constant protect item, if you're training using any barrows set (especially dharoks) so you wouldn't lose any part of the set, or just any item in general, so you don't need to worry as much if you're reading forums or something while training. Obviously have it not work in the wild so pkers wouldn't lose a whip.

As to how you get it, it could be a topaz/jade/opal type ring you could make, or a ring like the charos ring that you get from a quest. You just have it equipped, and through some connection thru the prayer gods or whatever, it allows continuous use of one type of those prayers.

...It would need to be reduced to 30 minutes, and the ring should require at least 50 prayer to wield. No offense, but if people could basically have free attack, strength, and defense pots for 15 hours straight without any prayer pot doses or altar recharges, that would make it way too easy.

I think you are forgetting about a certain ammy that gives 15% attack and str bonuses vs the undead :wink:

maybe make it last 1 hr of real time

after it is used up , you need 30 mins for it to recharge.

and need high paryer lvl to make and the gem should not be so easy to get

thatd be good for training, i see where the 15 hours comes in barrows *cough* :roll: but yes i agree, not to mention i think their should be more prayer boosting items like gloves and boots because whenever i prayer MASSIVELY its for thing that are stupid or when im in dire need of prayer like the zogre coffins i didnt have the cure potion or super restore so i just used the restore prayer with fulliniate zammy symbol zammy book and d mace so i could get my stats up again fast, cooking lobsers with lvl 35 cooking isnt easy...

Considering that it should only be useable outside of wild, the "free" pots

shouldn't matter too much. The protection prayers dont work, the ring lasts

for maybe 2 hours, which is a good amount of time.

Another option is to have it be

"Ring of Prayer (99)"

It allows use of all prayers and acts as if ye had lvl 99 prayer. All prayers

use their customary drain except they drain the ring instead of ye prayer.

When it degrades to

"Ring of Prayer (0)"

it melts. This ring however, would be usable in the wild.

(I would have some fancy pic for those two 'cept I've no talent in that area)

for the second idea.

They should also be banned from castle wars or that new mini game under karajama...anyways...I think 2 hours tops. Then you have forge another one, which requires 50 smithing. Then talk to that monk upstairs in the prayer guild who enchants your holy symbols, and he'll enchant your ring for ya. How's that sound?

5 hours non wilderness gives:

Protect extra item

One of the new prayers/one of the protect prayers

Gives bones 5% extra exp

Simple :wink:

Prayer pots also take away the need of 99 prayer. There's the x amount your level is subtracted from 99 original bonus, but if you've got an inventory full of them a lvl 99 prayer doesn't have much of a benefit over any lvl 60 prayer.
