I'm going out to train again and just wondering what armour I should get.



I'm currently making that extra 100k to get the War Spear (about half an hour or so) to complete my Guthan's set.



But, is there any alternative or better armour/weapon setup?

I don't quite understand your question due to how you've set it out. But as far as I can see you seem to be asking what is the best armour/weapons for training so.. it would be max str gear and attack bonuses so the classic setup would be you know: Neiznot Helm, Fighter torso, amulet of fury, barrows gloves, whip, defenders, bandos tassets and to finish it off dragon boots. I am however very sorry if I've completely misunderstood your question

I use it allot and if you don't got a high summoning level (like me) guthans is definatly worth it for doing slayer.

Buy guthans and gain enough charms for 68 summoning.



Then sell the guthans and use the cash for using up the charms. Trust me bunyip is much better.

No way at his level could he rely on a bunyip alone for healing, and yes guthans is definately worth it. That is, if you're training slayer, I don't know what else you would be using it for but feel free to tell us.

I'll just be using it for Slayer Tasks (Fire Giants just now ) and some general fighting.

And yes, I can't afford to waste money for 68 summoning just now.

Guthans is probably the only constant ive had in my bank over time, its been the best thing ive ever brought, its used very often and really is definately worth the money. I brought mine back in the day for around 9m and havent ever had the want to sell it, even with having a bunyip i still like to have guthans here if i need it.
