  1. Hi, I should be back on runescape in a few weeks. Getting my new comp soon! I miss hanging out with you!!

  2. tribes 2 was the only shooter i ever really played, but i particularly enjoyed a variant called Rev Mod. fun times
  3. i found a place like this at the entrance to the warped torts. i was taken away by a random as i was exiting the dungeon, when i returned, my box was in a place i could not pick it up. when i tried to walk on top of it, i would be taken outside.
  4. hey i got it to work :)

so u should be able to invite me to the elders group now :)

  5. I see you... this is bbeetuna

  6. I see that there has been much discussion from both sides so I thought I'd chip in my opinion. And that is what it is, my opinion. You can like or dislike, it makes no matter to me. I am an older player, started playing around the time of the zombie head haloween event. I have had a lot of fun trying to improve my character and it is nothing to brag about i guess. No 99s and I only have to do the latest quest to get my cape back. I'm slowly working my way to get most of my skills above 80. I currently am the mother of 2 small kids ( ages 3 and 1) so my time on RS is limited. I don't try to be as efficient as possible mostly have fun as a distraction a couple of days a week. I remember the days before free trade and hated trying to sell things from slayer or treasure trails. Many may have enjoyed that aspect of the game, but i hate it, it feels like a total wast of time for me, I'd rather be skilling and I really can't devote the time needed to sell things on forums as it can sometimes be many days before i am able to get some free time on the computer, the kiddies come first. I understand that pking was a major part of the game, but not for me. I haven't really boss hunted and can't now that i may be pulled away from the game at any time. I like being able to buy some of my supplies from the GE (usually in smaller quantities), but most of my stuff is DIY and my small 33m (plus 7.5m in MTK) cash pile has all been from my own drops. I like being able to know the prices of things and for them to buy quickly or when I'm away so for me, bringing back the wild and especially free trade (if it greatly impacts how things are sold through the GE) may make my time on RS more frustrating which is not at all what I want. Again to each his own and if someone invents a game that could please everyone I believe the apocalypse would be upon us. I just hope RS can continue to be fun.
  7. Sounds like you did not rotate the mirror back to be able to pass through the cyan door. There is a back door you will need to use that is in the underground pass area with the dwarves to get back to the alter area.
  8. I had the commander disappear as well as i entered the final cave with the tracks. Logging out then back in solved it for me.
  9. Well, I only read up to about page 4 of this thread and had a few things to add. What would happen if I snapped my fingers and the sun was instantly turned into a black hole (still only 1 solar mass in size)? Would the earth be suddenly sucked in? No, we would continue to orbit just as we do now, only it will get awful cold. When calculating things like orbits of planets around a central body, the only relevant information needed is the mass of the 2 bodies invloved, not their density, size etc. Now these orbital calculations break down for black holes as you get closer to them because of the extreme bending of space-time. There are also different types of black holes: static, rotating, charged. Depending on the type there are multiple photon spheres (read the site for what photon spheres are) and you can even get the singulatiry outside the event horizon  . This website has some pretty good discriptions of the different types of black holes as well as what happens if you were to try and "drive" into one and lots of good info on black holes in general. A lot of the discriptions of black holes involve general relativity which I am no good at. The whole tensor math and non-eculidian (sp?) geometry make my head hurt, but it is terribly interesting to hear about. (please excuse andy spelling and grammer errors, I was a physics major, not english)
  10. The other day I managed to get 4 nests off of yews and magic trees. Within an hour
  11. I find stuff from tip it (my reference in the getting around guide) my registration on some forums for help in LabVIEW that I needed for work and that's about it. The other names I've gone by give some other stuff (bbtuna and Spzoids_wife). Most everything you find from Spzoid is related to either myself or hubby and one misspelling of Spazoid on some forum. Kinda funny because spzoid is the result of misspelling spazoid.
  12. There are plenty of homeless people around where I work. I had a friend once who gave out some money to one of them and the next day he and a bunch of his friends came up to her again asking for more money. Not a situation I want to be in as it can be quite dark when I get off work. I really feel sorry for them, but my own personal safety comes first in this case.
  13. Yup, just finished watching the game. It's about time they started winning =D> =D>
  14. You could always try the 300 foot 90mph Millenium Force. I've been on the Dragster once myself, from what my sis said, we almost didn't make it over the top. Best ride I've been on.
