maybe because I think that it's a decent achievement. look, whether or not you think it's good, there's no need to come down on me like that. I worked hard at this. also, I posted my other thread yesterday. I wasn't gonna be able to get 81 defense and 1800 total at the same time, so I made 2 threads. sorry if that offends you...

just got this yesterday: not easy. love the new hp lvl and imo, 1800 lvls is a pretty decent achievement. then today I got this: pretty good for 2 days work... lemme know what you think!

I really only have 1 chore that I do every day, and that is a farming run. however, I dont really consider it a chore because I'm working on getting 99 farm... I guess it depends on how vital the "chores" are to what it is you want to do. if you're a crafter, those 64 bstaves are a good investment. if you're looking for mage/range/agil xp thats easy to get, the circus is a good thing. for a hardcore skiller (one who signs on, and immediately starts grinding on a particular thing) there are probably very few chores that are worth your time, especially if you're "buying" a skill.

thanks, either method is probably decent, but your range bonus will be quite low with all the mage gear on. but then, your melee bonus will be low too... its up to you I guess. strawberries heal 5, so a basket is 25. however, due to the cost of ruby(e) bolts and the need to waste space in food, I dont recommend using ruby(e). emerald(e) and either addy or broad bolts work just fine. also, thanks maul, I've added broad bolts to the guide.

I pray range protect, so should I use veracs for prayer boost or karils? are their attacks mage-based?

well, its nice to get them, but they're untradeable and you need very high farm lvl to plant them...

I'm confused, I thought you needed a kc of 40 to enter the boss room?

do I need summon pots for the bunyips?

ty for the help and for pointing me to the guide. I dont really want to skip any tasks at this point, because I just bought slayer helmet knowledge and I'm low on slayer points. also, I want firsthand knowledge of all types of tasks. I could skip, but I'd rather find really bad tasks and pay more to block them. first on my blocking list is black demons... lol. I'll try this and see how it goes. any additional advice is always appreciated.

ok so I just got my first terrorbird slayer assignment, and I don't know what to bring. crystal chimes and a superset seem obvious, and probably a 1-click tele, but tip.it suggests that I pray range constantly. is that a good idea? how many pray pots should I bring? are there other less costly methods? any and all advice is welcome :

thanks for the compliments. it turns out that ranging is much more profitable than maging (due to increases in rune costs) but both are fun ways to gain experience and are good alternatives to the mindless but fast methods we've all heard of.

hmm, ok. so is there a section of these forums or the RSOF where people discuss junik trades? sorry to sound so much like a newb...

ok, I price checked them, they're worth about 2.58m gp. however if I'm understanding the concept, they're mostly used to increase the value of a trade when I'm the one selling the rare? I cant simply trade them (plus cash) for another person's rare? junk trades really confuse me...

I'm completely unfamiliar with junk trades, but I've heard these are decent junk and I'd like to get rid of them. any idea of the sort of value that 17.9k maple longbows (u) would have? also, how would I go about finding someone interested in a junk trade? tyvm in advance for any help :thumbsup:

I just finished my (technically) 2nd run. here is what I got: this method pwns! if you stay in one general area, say a 10x10 square, eventually the aviansies will cease to be aggressive. you can take off prayer between kills, alch things easily, and even step away from your keyboard for a minute or so. also, when you run out of prayer, keep an eye on the aviansies that are weak from fighting other monsters. you don't have to do a significant amount of damage to them to get their loot, just be fighting them when they die. its a good way to get a few extra drops before you resurface. if you see an aviansie drop swordfish, try to pick up as many as you can. that way you can just eat them instead of praying for a while. with 5 swordies I can usually get about 10 extra kills without praying.

the people who get the giant frog legs from the source (giant frogs) have finally figured out that instead of selling on GE for 100 each, they can sell to huldo for 1k each. :P

the only issue I see with the hunter xbow is the fact that you have to either hunt the kebbits yourself (and I know from experience that deadfall traps and tracking take an eternity) or buy the bolts from players (which is likely a lot more expensive than buying infinite bone bolts from the goblins) basically for me, that means I have to buy the bolts. I suppose a cost/value test is in order, but if it's fast and the bolts don't cost too much (if they're less than or maybe even comparable to mith bolts) then it might be worthwhile. just gotta figure out what they cost and how available they are in large numbers. also, I guess I never really got a straight answer about the iron knives. I know knives are fast, but do you think they would do damage fast enough? maybe I should be testing these things... :P
