Visage question
the official runescape release about the draconic visage states that only KBD, adult black, iron and steel dragons, and skeltal wyverns (72 slayer needed) drop the visage. this means: bronze dragons, green dragons, blue (adult and baby) dragons, red (adult and baby) dragons and baby black dragons do not drop the visage. this seems pretty clear-cut :P

Ranging Quests
yeah, those are the quests. as far as ranging in lost city, there is a safe spot to the south of the room with the tree, so go with the stuff needed to fletch bow+arrows and make them there, then when you start the fight, go south and try to get the safe spot. I maged the tree from there. have a teleport spell or something in case you can't get the safe spot to work, cuz 26 ranged without the safe spot might not work so well...

rang minigame?
so if it's not the fastest xp, what is? I believe that was the question. and then I don't have an answer in my post either. I'm a hypocrite...

What does "safer" mean? (nevermind)
lol, why does it ruin pking? cuz you wont roll over and die so someone else can get your stuff? I always heal with more than half hp, cuz sometimes I lag, and I don't feel like dying. people who call you names because you make it difficult for them to kill you should just be ignored.

mining question
yeah iron is way faster, it respawns lightning fast and you can get it 1-hit. coal and above have longer respawn times and take longer to mine, but are worth more. if you don't care about keeping what you mine, iron all the way. I personally plan on actually making stuff with what I mine. that way I can level 2 or more skills without having to spend ridiculous amounts of money. personal preference though :D

Ranged Itens
honestly though, full dhide sets and even mage bows are not expensive at all. you can usually find full blue for around 15k. not sure on red and the mage bows, cuz I've never bought them, but the dhide probably isn't much more than blue, and the mage bow is just a few K.

Am i getting scammed???

what to do...what to do??
are you a high level miner? go someplace and mine rare ores. thieve from slow-respawning chests, most useful are the ones that give you nature runes.

Weekly Poll: What would you do if a friend gave you a phat?
ok, so maybe I'm a cold-hearted, insensitive... guy, but whats the point in keeping a p-hat? even if it is from a friend? its a completely useless item that's worth millions. I would sell it immediately and use the money to get all the items I've always wanted but could never afford. after getting those, I'd use it to level important skills. here is why: 1. as mentioned above, the item is useless. it can prove how rich you are, but I didn't buy it. it can prove how long you've played, but I didn't get it that way either. its a status symbol I don't need worth 100M+ which I do need. 2. it might be a memento from a friend, but that friend no longer plays the game (the poll was "what if your friend quit runescape?") and so I can only assume s/he really has no preference about what I do with the item. maybe my friend gave it to me because it is a fantastically valuable item and its a waste to delete it, maybe because s/he knew I could use all that cash. none of my friends would be the type to get upset if I sold a p-hat, even if they were the ones that gave it to me. 3. the money I get from selling it would help make me that much better. I could get full dragon, barrows up the yin-yang, and all sorts of supplies for leveling my skills. to me, that is way way way more important than having a 100M+ item languishing in my bank. for all these reasons and more, I would sell sell sell. reaching goals and achieving success is what drives me to play this game, and a p-hat would be worth a lot more to me after I sell it :D

What Item Did you Treasure as a Newbie? - 12k+ Views!
my first really treasured item was my rune scimitar. I had it forever. finally replaced it with dragon stuff when I became a member, but man, I felt like the king of the world with that thing :)

Tip.It Times Presents: Anything Goes
I recently started killing green dragons in the wildy, and had an instance where I died to a PKer that was prowling the edges of the dragon herd and picking off people who were low level. I was pissed, but I couldn't complain: I clicked the "enter wildy" button at the ditch, I knew what could happen. I dislike the fact that they seemed to be fighting in a cowardly manner, but there are no rules in the wildy, so I can piss and moan all I want, but it's still legal. so I changed my strategy. I limit the amount of items I can't bear to be parted with to 3 (rune plate, legs and ddp++) and fill up the rest of my armor slots with cheap stuff that boosts my stats slightly. I get some pots, a varrock tab, some food, and full prayer. if I die, so what? I didn't lose anything valuable or irreplacable. yeah, sometimes the wildy sucks. you don't wanna get PKed, you have some sort of goal, and it all goes to heck when you run across something you didn't plan for. this article was some good advice. be prepared to fight, don't complain about "honor," and if you need/want to be there but don't feel like PKing, make sure you don't have anything you don't wanna lose...

What do you collect (+ pics)
collecting money is not a collection, I'm sorry. you could very easily trade that for anything. I'm impressed that you have 105M, or whatever, but you can just trade that straight up for dragon stuff, a lot of food, or whatever you want. so can you really consider gems a collection? you can cut them, fletch them into bolt tips, get ores, smelt bars, smith bolts, add tips and then enchant. thats advancing at least 5 skills. same with making jewelry. they have a use. people will buy them in large amounts like that. runes can be sold in huge amounts. have 20K air runes? someone will buy all that! the more unique ones are the ones that are true collections. strange fruits, hammers, stuff that you don't need more than 1 or 2 of, and that have no real market. I consider bronze stuff to be collectable because no one uses it. so in my opinion, your gem/rune/money pile may be impressive, but there are uses for all of that. you may be "collecting" them just to have them, but its undeniable, they have value. 4064 hammers have no value but sentiment. thats why its a collection. :) also, 1.1M cabbages. blech!

Best xp + Drops? for Mage please!
better xp is only related to hp. more hp = more xp. it also helps if your spell can do a lot of damage (because you gain xp per successful casting of the spell, so if you can do more damage per spell, you'll gain more xp overall). thus, if you're looking for good xp, fight monsters with high hp.

Noobs say the funniest things!
heres a fun conversation, or at least, the interesting parts: this was with a man(?) who claimed to go to oxford. somehow, he didn't manage to convey the whole oxford attitude (much less the oxford intelligence...)

is low alch good for anything? is there any way to make money with it?

What is the best way to get by these skill:
if you don't care about being bored silly, compile a list from the mining supply forum of people who are powermining. then run for them. I made 200k in 2 days in maybe 6-8 hours total. just get at least 1k iron ores and then go to a crowded place and scream about having 1k iron ore for 100k. its quick and easy. for someone who only has maybe 300 total levels, I love having all that cash for the things I want/need. good luck :D

Question about buying members
I think what these nice people are trying to tell you is that it does NOT withdraw automatically from checking accounts, most likely because withdrawing from a checking account takes more work. you have to have a credit card. since you do not, you need another method. try the paypal one. also, people think you're a jerk because you type in a condescending tone. people are going to assume things about the way you type, so its up to YOU to not sound like an ***hole. there was no need for the comment "I don't live in the UK. I live in the USA," because that is irrelevant, the system is the same EVERYWHERE, so by saying that you sound like a jerk. we know you said you have a checking account, but the only way to have auto-pay is to have a credit card, so when the man said you should use a credit card, he wasn't avoiding your question, he was answering it. if a checking account would work, he would have said so. stop assuming everyone is an idiot, and if you think someone made a mistake, ask nicely for a clarification. here is how you should have responded: "unfortunately. I don't have a credit card. could someone kindly clarify whether a checking account is eligible for auto-pay?" the way to get answers is not to belittle the people who are attempting to help. try to be the bigger man. kthx
