I'm level 83. atk-70 str-67 def-63 magic-67 range-66 I've attempted to kill him twice. first time: (I tried to melee him) inventory: -ectophial -2 3 dose p pot -8 4 dose p pot -ring of visibility -12 swordies equipment: -inititiate top/bottom -d scim -rune defender -climbing boots -combat bracelet -neitzinot helm -glory -ring of life I got him down to very low life. I was on my last pot and was careless, ring of life tele'd me out. Second time:( I attempted to melee him again and this time I only fought his second form) inventory:(the underlined ones I changed from my last fight) -20 four dose p pots -ring of visibility -ectophial -5 swordies equipment:(the underlined ones i changed from my last fight) -climbing boots -initiate top/bottom -helm of netizinot -combat bracelet -glory -prayer book (replacing the defender) -Dragon scimitar -ring of life This time I did much worse, despite the fact that I had more prayer pots, and only had to fight his second form. I only did 25 damage using up 4 and 3/4 prayer pots. I tele'd out before I wasted more. I think the big difference is that this time, I used a prayer book that didn't have any pages in it instead of a defender. So, with all of this information, can anyone give me a hand? I have enough runes to cast earth blast 300 times. So, my specific question is: Should I: Melee Mage Range And is it more important for me to wear stuff that enhances prayer, or combat stats? I messed up the quest Horror From the Deep. I didn't ask Larissa about how to do the quest. I just started the quest and repaired the bridge. But now Gunnjorn wont give me the key!! Hey just warns me about his agility course like he always does. I think I didn't set off a trigger or something. I went back to talk to LArissa, but she just told me she was worried about her boyfriend...Does this mean I'll never be able to finish the quest ever!? I guess Ill never get a prayer book... -Reck

They give the same stats as sara and guthix, but cost like 6 times as much... 200k as opposed to 30k each... what gives? -reck

I read the sticky, but it didn't say much... I have 83 combat and 56 thieving. Is it faster to steal or kill HAMs for lvl 1 clues? It's a little slower to kill, but you don't get thrown out, or stunned... Help is appreciated! -Reck

I think you should be able to pause the chat screen ^-^. Would be easy to do, and make my life better.

1-Like a bunch of people have said, less bots = reduction in supply therefore increase in demand. 2-Jagex is going to try to bring back the PvP element in Runescape, so those items will come back into demand again 3-Some people buy raw materials just for the experience, and don't give a damn about the finished product. Especialy people going for 99s. -Reck

well, I just got back from my holiday dervish. I had three sets of full iron that I gave out. Person 1:Expressed genuine thanks, but didn't want tips on how to actualy earn money Person 2:Asked for more Person 3:Expressed genuine thanks, and wanted tips! I showed him falador mine and told him about mining iron. I stayed with him until he got like lvl 9 mining. Then I had to log out for like 2 minutes. When I came back he was gone... In sum, I think I'm done with my good deeds for a while...

I am on a Christmas rampage. I am really trying to help out new players in Runescape (levels 3-10). Anyone have any ideas where my energies wil be best spent? Should I just camp at lumby will full sets of iron in ftp? Or are there better ways to help newbies? -Reck

I have never had the pleasure of playing Runescape Classic. I've heard a lot of things about it, and seen a few screenshots. But my question is: was the pking system fundamentaly from RS2? And is it was, how so? Did it require actual skill and not just bringing the right items? I've always wanted to know. Thanks! -Reck

Well, I hate to say it but this wouldn't hurt rwt. It would still be very easy to transfer money. The client pays the rwt. The rwt walks into the wildy as a lvl 3 with a whip/godsword/barrows item (or any other expensive item) in his inventory. The rtw meets his client, who kills him. =/ I'm sorry but you just have to accept that the wild as we knew it is gone... -Reck

Mmmm, quests. The Feud alone gives 15k exp rolfcopter
