So I was just running through Shilo on my way to do a clue, and look who I saw: Naruto. :shades:

Why doesn't someone just make a thread to discuss the dungeoneering shields? This thread turned from discussing the new bank update, to a debate about if the dungeoneering shields suck or not, which is not what this update was about....

Nope, Toony can't be passed by effigies, I calculated it the other night. The next closest player is 150M Slay XP, who is at 152.9m exp, and even if his whole bank was filled with effigies (438) using all the lamps on slayer wouldn't even get him to 200m exp. i think he mean for dung What are you talking about? He says in his post "I don't think Toony can be surpassed by effigies." So I backed up his statement with fact seeing as how I did the calculations just the other night.

I looked at Wisely's exp yesterday I belive it was, and he was at 191m exp, as of now he's at 194.4m exp. I think hes pretty damned determined to get it soon. Yeah, pretty sure Wisely can beat Toony to 200m. Wisley is now at 197.1m exp. Looks like he's gaining nearly 3m exp a day.

Logged off last night in the middle of doing MEP2. I got on today, and was like... "Uhhhh.... what the hell am I wearing?" Turns out they thought mourner clothes needed an update.

+100000000. Jesus, I can't believe someone with access to frosts is considering going to wyverns instead. Cmon man. Leave an offer for wyvern bones in for max while you do frost trips to get the money back. I was getting super pray pots so I could last a bit longer at frosts. And by the way, still only gotten 4 bones from the G.E. Whereas I got about 100 bones in less than an hour killing the wyverns myself, which is all I need for now.

So tonight I'm going to my first ever LS Bandos event with my clan. Chances are I'll be the tank since I'm the highest level in the clan and one of the few with 99 defence. I'm just looking for some advice on what gear to wear while being the tank. All my melee stats are 99, and I have 97 summoning so I'll be bringing a pack yak. I also have overloads. I've got a BCP, which I'll probably wear, and I'll be using my Chaotic Rapier. I just need some advice on what to wear in the other equipment slots, and a good inventory to use. There will most likely be 5-10 of us going if that really matters. Oh, and I have about 10m to spend on gear, so DFS is out of the question. (I am experienced at Bandos, I've soloed about 100 kills or so (Soloed a bcp and tassets so far)). Thanks.

The reason I'm not buying them is that bones are on the rise, and I've had an offer in the G.E. to buy them for over 4 hours now, and I've gotten 4 bones.

Cmaul? Am I missing something here? Don't you need an elemental/mind shield to kill these guys without being slaughtered by their breath?

I need to make some super prayer pots, but lack the funds to just go out and buy a bunch of wyvern bones. Instead I'll be killing Skeletal Wyverns. I'm looking for what the best method to kill these with melee would be. Is it better to bring magic defense gear and protect from melee, or bring melee defense gear and protect from magic? Also, what would be an ideal inventory for using a pack yak while killing them? Any input in greatly appreciated.

My guess is that you will still see xp, but it won't add to your xp count :P That's what I meant by you won't see anymore exp, as in, you won't see anymore added into your skill.

Makes me curious.... If you can't gain exp past 200m, will you still gain tokens from dungeons? My guess is that you will, but just won't see anymore exp.

Did three trips to frost dragons today, each lasted an hour and 20 minutes. I plan on saving up 12k bones for getting 75-95 prayer. My goal is to get 1k bones per day from now on. If I can't manage that, then I hope to have enough atleast before Thanks Giving. :thumbsup:

have you solved it with both pieces missing? Yeah, just got done doing that. Talked to the guy and he still wants me to solve it. I'm just going to drop it. It's only a hard clue, not like I've gotten a good reward from the past 200 I've done. (No rewards over 1m in the past 200 clues.) :rolleyes:

Nice one Jagex.... Can't solve this puzzle box. I've logged out and logged back in multiple times now, box has stayed with 2 pieces missing instead of 1. I've dropped it and gotten another from him, same thing happens. <_<

Are you sure it doesn't degrade faster? From what I understood, each time it absorbs damage, it degrades some. Edit: http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2item_id=9916 'Soaking' damage lessens the charge on the shield more quickly than usual. Taken from the tip.it item database.
