This. People have been saying it increases your chances of getting a defender if you wear the Cyclopean Helmet, but it's just stupid rumors. I've worn one while killing, and not worn one while killing. I saw no difference, and the majority of my dragon defenders have come from not wearing the Cyclopean Helmet.

Yea im suprised it aint more popular. Theres really only 1 pray you need to worry about. Personally I like the more crowded worlds. The more the better actually..... more cyclossus spawns for me to steal. :twisted: 28 dragon defenders and 19 helms, I'll get back to workin on my goal of 100 tomorrow.

Yeah, I saw you there. You'd get a cyclosus and be like "steal it!!" and just walk away lol. Grats on the defenders, you were a very fast clicker, saw you getting quite a few spawns. :thumbsup: Edit: End of day one at cyclopes. I don't know, I got 13 rune defenders in 72 minutes a few weeks ago.

Day 1: 17/100 Dragon Defenders, IDGAF about the helms, not gonna keep track, just selling them when I find buyers in the room. Sold 6 helms so far, then theres the 5 or 6 in my pack that I'll sell soon.

So I got one earlier..... But I wanted moar. To be honest, people are such [puncture]s in the room with all the cyclopes, I don't even feel bad stealing the cyclossus ones anymore. The majority of those helmets came from stealing kills, because every single one that would spawn for me was stolen until I got the hang of killing him. Now, I have people following me around in the cyclopse room tellin me I'm a pr0 pj'er/[wagon]. :rolleyes:

Got this after about 20 cyclopes Didn't get to fight the big guy though. <_<

HAHAHAHA @ all those who thought they were getting a dragon defender from this quest.

I can only afford one though, so would a spec wepon or more str bonus be better in the long run? If I got D claws, would it be worth while to bring spec restores with me on tasks? (7k in the bank from training herblore)

So my cash pile is starting to get up there with doing herb runs a lot and drops from slayer. It's pretty much all I do, and I was wondering whether buying a BCP/Tassets or D Claws will be more useful for training slayer. Currently I'm using EEE for my spec, so theres no extra damaging coming from that. For my armor I'm using Verac's Skirt and Prossy Plate. Currently 94 slayer and max melees. Any input is appreciated. (I know it isn't recomended to drop your whole cash pile into one item usually, but there's not really anything I need to buy other than better gear for slaying, I already have karils for when I need mage defence.)

26.4m attack exp and still working my way towards 99 slayer, so no, I haven't given up on combat. However, I have 99 summoning and 86 dungeoneering (Chaotic Rapier) so it really isn't much of a hassle for me to train.

Honestly, I agree with all of what you said there. The maze is nice because for the time it takes, the rewards can be pretty decent (100k+ for 2 minutes or so) and the levers are the quickest random to complete, so they're nice too. As for bad ones, the mime just takes so long for him to do the emotes and then give you the interface to choose from. With Leo, it's a lot of waiting for the spinning tiles to come around for you to see, which ends up making it be a semi-lengthy random. The evil bob fishing one, it always annoys me when they show me which fishing spot to go to, then sit there showing the statue for 5 seconds or so longer than what they need to. It's like, ok, I've seen it, let me go fish and get this damn random event over with. The balloon one wouldn't be so bad if you only had to get one key, but three can be a tad annoying. In short, long randoms = bad, short randoms = good. Don't get me wrong though, it's not like any random really takes THAT long to do.

I love these new juju farming potions. I farmed all these today, only using four patches each run since I have yet to do My Arm's Big Adventure (I should REALLY do that soon). :thumbsup:

[bleep]ing manipulator scumbag mother[bleep]ing [bleep]s. Why can't Jagex ban these [bleep]ing [wagon]? This doesn't personally affect me because I don't consume brews at a regular rate, but the premise of raising something that is very commonly used from around 6k each to 14k each (over DOUBLE its price) is [bleep]ing ludicrous. EVERYBODY suffers just so some greedy [bleep]ing back-stabbing nerds can make bank. [bleep] Jagex for making a system as fatally flawed as the GE and [bleep] these scumbags for taking advantage of it. It would be difficult for Jagex to ban them, they would have to do it at exactly the right moment. If they were to do it now, good bye entire brew market, now all the brews are sitting on locked accounts. At other times, it could be getting rid of the majority of a certain armor or wepon in the game.

Ok, guess I'll do the quest and go catch them. And I'm fairly certain falconry is more click intensive (2 clicks per catch, if you don't fail, then after a few minutes, massive amount of furs in your inventory to drop). Thanks for the advice.
