  1. I am currently at 93 runs of barrows without an item, this is my 2nd 90+ streak. Please do not complain. I know you're sour that you haven't got an item for awhile, but how about showing the guy some compassion? I am sure he was not expecting to get a barrows item first go, but maybe some runes or something along those lines. Badluck to the OP, I am sure your lucky will come back.
  2. Hey, I found this thing! Yaya, its awesome, so people should read it.
  3. Java isn't the limiting capability of rs (rs isn't even written in java script anymore, its written in 'rune code'). Because there are java games which have crystal clear graphics and are coded in java. Rs is what it is because its small to download, maybe you can pick up almost any computer on any connection and play. It's one of their selling points.
  4. I'll finish this after my mid-year exams. (15th of june) Its pretty crap at the moment, the point was to make sure people had some type of capital before they started.
  5. How long does one run (20 bars) take you? And any idea how long it'd take if you banked the ores rather than smithing them? Thanks and cool guide.
  6. Wouldn't it be better to get like twentyh people with low defence and run around an uncrowded castle wars hitting each other?
  7. Is it worth getting a mage book over a good book?
  8. Why would I bank to much with steel drags? Fire giants look ok so far, was hoping for something else though. (Wouldn't mind something with drag legs.) Hrm, I don't really want to run after people and I would like -some- drops. Purely just so I can give stuff to friends. I forgot to mention, it would be nice if friends could come and visit me too, so prehaps spots where it doesn't have to be solo :).
  9. It's debatable, it really depends on wether you think it'll be a waste of time or not. People can argue one way or another, but nobody really knows. If you ask me, I'd like to know what grade of wood teak and mahoganny is from somebody who knows stuff about it. If its a luxury wood, then hey there is no harm in cutting downa few thousand. Not to mention on the rs site it does say the wood is rare.
  10. Anyways, I want to boost my magic experience (I want to be able to enchant fury ammies when I get 90 crafting) and I don't particularally like alcheming or enchanting for XP. So I thought, hey why not just shoot off 100k deaths. Anyways, I am looking for some suggestions on where I should shoot off my deaths. Some things to consider: I have money, so thats not my forth most concern, but it'd be nice to mage something which is likely to drop some cool stuff while I shoot off the deaths (if only so I don't fall asleep). I'd perfer some where that has a safe spot for mages so I don't have to bank every three minutes. I'd perfer to go to a spot which isn't always packed (I live in Australia, so I mostly play in off-peak times). Also, can you suggest a set up for the place you suggest and how I should go about it? (The price of the items I need doesn't really fuss me, just not more than say 25million.) The post with the best post will win 200k and one of my drops.
  11. *Smiles* There is no point in just doing the quests I would like to do because nobody else would come. But I will think of some quests for this weekend, it'll be on saturday for the americans and sunday for the aussies.
  12. I am not so picky, I was just thinking about doing the ones I can in alphabetical order, but who knows. Some suggestions on what people would like to do would be good. (Nothing with more than 1 or 2 easy prerequiste quests please)
  13. Anyways, I only have 59 quest points. And I figure, surely there are some other people out there like me. So I was hoping to find some people who would like to go questing with me, better yet if enough people are interested weekly i'd like to select a quest and do it with a large group of us. (I'd be happy to buy the items we will need during the week while I trade and you guys can just pay me back later, or if they don't cost that much you can have them for free). Chewy_shoe
  14. 150 per chaos, 300 per death. Yeah, you world hop. (So sorry, i'll include that next time I update) Today i'll be running tests for selling chaos and deaths for tokkul then buying onxy gems getting them craft into furies and selling them.
  15. Its to do with price stickyness, it takes awhile for markets to react to inflation such as the ones you are talking about (The RBA plans for inflation about 2 years in advance, i.e any changes they make take about two years to take affect) which is why it took the market two weeks for the prices to rise, rather than people running out of their stocks of essence (although this would have contributed). Nature runes will only rise if people decide they are better off doing other things with their time causing supply to drop.
  16. Congratulations, uhm, does this story have an end?
  17. Look, I'm not trying to flame. I'm just defending Chewy. As for playing 4 months, that is when he REstarted Runescape. I never said you didn't know what you were doing, as I know that you obviously do if you got to the point that you are at now. I just said Chewy might know a bit more than you do, as he started playing way before you. If he didn't have "some genius scheme," he wouldn't have made a few hundred mill in a few months starting from a few hundred k, would he? I'm not saying he's like a super genius or anything, I'm just saying he obviously has to be pretty smart in order to be so wealthy. Nah man, pleasent is totally spot on. Because if he can't make 5mill an hour then I certainly can't. I mean, he practically created the rare market, or so I hear. I don't mean to be a [bleep] about it, but lying is one thing I don't do. (I know you said you didn't call me a liar, but what exactly are you calling me?) I can sit here and say I make that much per hour till the cows come home and you can sit there and call me a liar. But at the end of the day the only person it affects is me. I wouldn't have even borthered to post if I knew people would have cared this much, I thought 5-10mill would be about standard per hour these days. Also, you are looking at profit as a purely per trade thing, sure phats are the best per trade because you can make a few million. But I can make 100 500k trades in the time it takes me to do 10 party hat trades. If you can get those trades thats great, but it really shouldn't be anybodies main source of income. But hey, what the hell do I know. Anyways, on a side note these forums definately aren't as fun as they used to be. I am not so sure I will be using them anymore.
  18. That because alexa gets the data from the domain rather than the sub-domain. I'd say that tip-it gets alot of its traffic from its guides calculators and so forth rather than from the forum itself. Which is why alexa isn't really a good choice in this case.
  19. Yeah, I can do that. And i'll answer those questions in a little bit, I just need to make a bit of money before I update the guide again.
  20. *Smiles* I'll include that in the next section of the post, as I said this is more about increasing capital. Also, if you are spending 2 hours selling them, try the official forums, if that doesn't work drop your price. (Or, you can use the onxy method which I will show you just as soon as I get around to it).
  21. Lol, that won't be happening untill I make more than 5mill an hour. Can't tell you the secrets I use or else you will steal 'em and i'll be a poor little noobler.
  22. Oh and one last thing before I go to sleep, everything I have posted so far is part of my cash build up strategy (i'll explain once I have finished posting all the cash strategies to give everybody a chance to build up their gp reserves).
  23. AH, lots of people pay people to tan for them though, which is why I included it. (I even invite people to add their names to the list so its -not- just me). Also tanning is really good for F2Pers On a side note, this is very much the START of the guide. I posted it by mistake, so please reserve judgement till I am finished. Because its not finished, you can tell me what you don't and do like so I can change it in future.
  24. Just finished the tanning guide. Ended up being 350k an hour, but if you don't much about I am sure it would be 450-500.
  25. Sorry , hopefully you will find something else you will like doing in my guide! And no HYT love for chewy tanning hides :(.
