All essence should have been made pure essence, allow f2p to use pure essence (basically a waste) and then you don't have this problem. Thats the problem with jaqex, they don't think things through.

Haha, its funny to see so much support for this on the P2P forums. Pure Essence will go 150gp+ a unit once the stockpiles people have begin to deplet. If you ask me, punishing a whole group of people when only a few are offending is a bad way to operate. If jaqex wanted to approach the problem, then i'd say that it might be best to ban people under the level X before reviewing the evidence. If it comes up on the macro detection system and they are under said level then they are banned, then the evidence is reviewed, rather than vice versa. It would really put out alot less people than the current 'fix'.

I don't, essence won't go lower than 10gp a unit if you ask me. Pure essence will go way back up though, also if the problem is people trading for real life money, what makes jaqex think they won't just make memebers account? Its only $5 per account, I am sure a million sells for well over that. All I see is more incentive for the cheaters to p2p their accounts, which ends up in more money for jaqex. Surprise surprise.

We have had duping on three seperate ocassions (on a large scale), so I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't see it happen again in the next five years.

My guide is as follows, have 2-4 people guarding the knight, then get everybody else to attack the portals. You really don't need to protect the barricades unless for some odd reason you are going for the 20 minute win.

Saying you can't make a full time zone happy is [cabbage], its called holding the event at several times.

Statistically you can work out the actual probability from a relatively small sample size and then work out the margin of error, this should give you a rough estimate of how often things drop. But why borther? You shouldn't kill monsters for drops, its a terrible way to make money.

I do whatever is best for me. For example, if I need 10,000 chaos runes then I could either a). make them or B). do something else to get them. If B is quicker than A then I am going to do B. Its called being effecient and even if you aren't physically using your money, you can be making a lose by having a high opporunity cost (or wasted opportunity).

As I said, I don't sit there typing the same thing over and over again. A). Because its lame and B). Because I can make more money merchanting in other ways. Also, why would I use an autotyper when i can type 95wpm? And to the person who said prove you didn't do it, tell me how to prove I didn't macro and I will prove it.

The thing is, I don't even do that much typing. I don't stand in fally on server two and type the same thing over and over. I post on forums and trade like that.

I've always been pretty defensive about jaqex ban policies. I used to think that if somebody got banned generally they did something wrong. But I just got banned for macroing, if I actually macroed then fair enough. But, let me ask you a question. How could I have macroed if all i've been doing for the last three weeks is merchanting? I've never been one to do skills, so my skills are fairly low. Nothing has changed, i've smithed a total of 500 or so iron bars while i've been merchanting purely so I wouldn't stand around doing nothing. Becareful not to trade to much folks, you might be macroing without even knowing it! My favourite part of the whole experience is that because I have a good clean record and I only got banned for 3 days, due to it being my first 'offense' in over 5 years of play. I cannot appeal the ban. You guys certainly did grow in numbers while i've been gone, but you never really did understand the concept of customer support, maybe its something you should look into. There is nothing wrong with playing twelve hours a day. Although, what I find kind of disturbing is that nova's parents/family aren't willing to force him to get a job. If I had a kid who wanted to play 12 hours a day, he would sure be working the other 12. Maybe its time to go job searching now mate.

Err, I am kind of bored. I just thought i'd pop in and see if any of my old friends were still playing. I quit Y!PP a little while ago because I got to much money and it lacked real things to do with it, but such is life :). Anyways, just thought i'd say hello :).
