  1. Totally misleading film "Starring THESE TOTALLY famous people" Oh wait no it's about a boy and a bunch of midgets running around time stealing things.
  2. Fat Head 3/5 Guy basically loses weight eating fast food, Average film, wasn't that interesting. WAY more factual than Super Size Me. Basically a big [bleep] you to Super Size me. Debunked everything in that film that I already hated, and it was alright. Pacing/animation could of been better. What I've learned, quit eating bread and stuff with corn, crap makes you WAY fatter than eating fast food...
  3. Revenge of the nerds 3/5 Twas okay. Funny sometimes, all the characters were really one dimensional and the plot was pretty lame. jokes were still funny. meh.
  4. Sometime he didn't direct but was a main part of wasLost in La Mancha I haven't seen it, mostly because his films are average at best. Also, Brazil is extremely weird.
  5. this so much I probably would of creamed if I didn't have the end spoiled for me... ANYWAYS Grave of the fireflies 4/5 Really beautiful, great story and really heartbreaking. Best Ghibli film out there, I didn't cry at all, probably because I've seen more depressing movies. Otherwise, really well made but It wouldn't be at the top of any of my lists.
  6. Eureka (2000) 4/5 Cinematography of this film was fantastic, characters were also quite interesting, I always love characters that don't talk. The pacing seemed way faster than 3 hours, which was nice, but I wouldn't want to rewatch it, it had it's beauty the first time, and that's all. Everything is Illuminated 5/5 Watched this again, still had the same impact it left me the first time, amazing visuals, great acting, funny yet dramatic at the same time, and just a really perfect movie for me.
  7. The Fountain is one of my person favorites from him and the Wrestler, Some people say Fountain is toodeepforthem. But watch with warning.
  8. Clerks 5/5 One of my favorite comedies, Seeing it for the 5th time or so. Still extremely well done. Pretty perfect movie in my humble opinion
  9. Good, I'll keep downloading illegally and buying vinyl and occasionally buying CD's from Amazon.com's warehouse. No problems here.
  10. He's actually not a director, he did write Few good men, and West wing, but didn't direct anything.
  11. Adaptation 3/5 Extremely good screenplay, pretty well done acting. 3rd act though, ruined the whole thing for me, since I thought the whole thing was real I was blown away as to how this happened.. and the fact that he doesn't actually have a twin brother ruins it that much more. Overall, alright, but the pacing was HORRENDOUS, It slowly moved, directing was mediocre and could of done so much better.
  12. Do the right thing 3.5/5 Interesting, probably the best film about racism I've seen. Been disappointed by most others. I don't get where people were saying "he didn't do the right thing" Overall, great pacing, characters were a little contrived, mood and tone were [bleep]ing great, It really felt like the hottest day of the year, and it's quite cold where I'm at.
  13. Expect the 3rd act of the film totally ruins the tone of the rest...
  14. You should probably show me this, since I did watch it on DVD and not blu-ray, mostly because my computer RAM isn't enough to play Blu-ray rips
  15. Paper Moon 4/5 Really fantastic acting, great story, pacing was a little weak, otherwise this was splendid. Loved the cinematography throughout and the long shots of the little 9 year old girl remembering all those lines like that, I couldn't even do that :( Really fantastic Baraka 4.5/5 Seriously beautiful. has "no plot, no storyline, no actors, no dialogue nor any voice-over" and does a fantastic job of saying a message regardless, and the film as a whole was shot so beautifully I couldn't pull my eyes away. Only problem is I wished they had filmed more European countries. Otherwise would of been a perfect film.
  16. Neutral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane over the sea Listen to this album on a daily basis, I don't know why...
  17. 8 1/2, 3/5 Uh............ "Acknowledged as avant-garde" NOW I GET IT
  18. Just in general good films. There's a bunch more, but those are personal films and not everyone would like them.
  19. Best. Series. Ever.
  20. Tucker and Dale vs. Evil 4.5/5 Really nice take on the horror genre, being a little cliche and still having a fun and pretty interesting plot, characters were well presented and everything was pretty top notch. Great film, looking forward to more from the director.
  21. I saw a few episodes of this show, it's not too special, it's cheesy, predictable and ponies... So why does this have more discussion than like, Breaking Bad?
  22. The Third Man 3.5/5 Not one for Noir films, but this quite a good one. Orson Wells does a fantastic job in it and the whole mystery part of it just kept you guessing. One of the better Noir films I've seen The Sting 4/5 Fantastic acting from both Redford and Newman, interesting story, great plot twists. Pacing was a little slow, but overall still a great film.
  23. Great season, still haven't been disappointed by this show, it keeps me hanging by a SMALL thread. Can't wait for Sunday either
  24. Doing poorly? Do you mean in terms of overall ratings? Because everyone I knew who watched it loved it. Extremely disappointed to hear the creator quit! Was that the creator of the comic or the adaptation? Adaptation, and I was disappointed after the first episode.. mostly because stuff just didn't flow well.. The only reason now to watch it is because it's the only Zombie TV show out there.
  25. I plan to be disappointed. Mostly because the creator quit and the series was already doing poorly. I'll watch a few episodes though, if it doesn't get any better I'll probably quit watching.
