  5. Fantastic Planet 4/5 Freaky dream-like landscapes and interesting plot and creatures Midnight Movies 3.5/5 A lot of info on movies back in the day and how midnight showings were so popular with films like El Topo, Eraserhead, and Rocky horror
  6. Leaves Of Grass 4/5 Really would like to know how Edward Norton did most of those scenes. They looked incredible and I didn't even notice I was looking at the same actor.
  7. Fast Times at Ridgemont High 2.5/5 Barely any laughs, mostly serious and it seemed to be pretty real as well. Judge Reinhold was pretty good. Sean Penn looked extremely freaky.
  8. Ummm... urbexing is fun, but how in the hell did they make a movie out of it? It was mostly about how people didn't get why they would do this. The Police getting involved, it being worldwide, and the internet bringing them together all looking at the same things. Was alright?
  9. Kimjongilia 3.5/5 Human rights in North Korea?! STOP MAKING ME LAUGH! Finding Forrester 2.5/5 It was okay, not much really there, only good parts were with Sean Connery Urban Explorers 3.5/5 People underground looking at things nobody else wants to. Fun? For them I guess so.
  10. Darkman 4/5 I WANT THAT PINK ELEPHANT
  11. parts 1 & 2 of Planet Earth (HD) So beautiful, want my girlfriend to hang out more to just watch more of it. Zero Day 4/5 Loved the idea of entirely found footage and it was pretty cool and didn't have to edit out the more gruesome details and it felt pretty real.
  12. Saw Boogie Nights 4.5/5 Enjoyed it, I might watch more of his work. Pulp Fiction, 5/5 Rewatch, Still loved it, still funny even the 9th time watching.
  13. Not everything, "Lindsy" wasn't really naked, either was Jessica Alba. and that final fight was crappy. Otherwise, Racism
  14. Secret Agent, Super Dragon (1966) .5/5 Thank you MST3k for the laughs, otherwise this would of been a terrible flick Machete (2010) 4/5 Funny and actiony, with a touch of racism Princess Mononoke (1997) 3.5/5 Environment good! Persona (1966) 2.5/5 Non-talking actress and women problems with some if any philosophical talk Happiness (1998) 1.5/5 Totally the opposite.
  15. Yeah, but it's only memorable for the Montage scene now anyway, everything else is just alright.
  16. RUSSIAN CINEMA TIME!!! WOO Some of the greatest movies ever made, by my favorite director, Andrei Tarkovsky. Andrei Rublev a film about a 16th? century Russian Icon painter. Not really accurate, since not much was written about him. Film is one of my least favorites of his, but still good in it's own right. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbguowlkZ4g Ivan's Childhood. About a child who is put into WW2 and has to scout out for the Russians, as they can't/don't want to, and he is willing, about the tragic tale of a childhood lost. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DG1in3yqGaQ Solyaris. About a man Kris Kelvin, goes up to this space center orbiting around the strange and mysterious planet known as Solyaris (Hence the title), While there the planet creates his dead wife that he's still been morning over. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=seCRhjrLNy4 Stalker My personal favorite film. About a group going to this mysterious Zone, to find themselves, and to learn what's there, questioning the Zone and why and how it's there, if it's there, and other philosophical views. NO LINK I'M LAZY more: The Ascent Dersu Uzala (by Akira Kurosawa, filmed in Russian and in Russia) Mirror Come and See (the greatest WW2 movie) Cranes are flying Mother and Son. The Second Circle. The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath! Moscow does not believe in tears.
  17. Clerks the animated series Too soon man, too soon.
  18. Following (1998) Rewatch Saw this with a bunch of friends. still feel fooled by this movie, damn you Nolan 4/5
  19. Haven't posted in a while. Thought I might restart by the last 5 I saw. Cabaret (1972) 2.5/5 I have no real idea what this movie was about, yeah I got it was making fun of Nazis.. but other than that, It wasn't that great of a film. The Elephant Man (1980) 4.5/5 Holy poopy was this film good. So much emotion between Joesph and the Dr. I loved it. Might watch more Lynch after that one. Even if he didn't write it. Braindead [Dead Alive] (1992) 3.5/5 Goriest film ever. The Breakfast Club (1985) 3.5/5 Pretty good for an 80's movie, I personally liked all the different social classes and how they could all work together. Avatar (2009) 1/5 It's pretty, that's it.
  20. Anybody else going to be disappointed this year? Even Scorsese is doing a 3D movie... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_in_film
  21. It's pretty remake crazy this year, only thing I have to look forward to was Tree of Life. and I expected that 2010, but since Terrence takes forever editing it's no wonder it got pushed back.
  22. You were so right, Sofia tried to do exactly what she did in Lost in Translation and it just didn't work.. the ending just came out of nowhere. Otherwise I hated that film. Recently saw Social Network. They talked WAY too fast. It's crazy. Aaron Sorkin needs to calm down his writing.
  23. Really avoid Expendables. I hated it when I saw it. Extremely disappointing, although the writer was the one who wrote Doom, so I'm quite sure it would of failed. On another topic. Exit Through the Gift shop was a fantastic documentary, even if it was fake, to those who may of seen it.
