Heh, very interesting guide I must say. Lotsa information, techniques, and just different ways to mix ti up and have more fun. However, there is one technique you missed that I am quiet fond of. Ring of stone. It is actually very effective, as players won't know that you have they flag, and sometimes won't see you at all! It helps to hide in the tunnels near the walls, or near the rocks east of the zamorak base, or west of the saradomin one. Also, in large groups, you won't be seen at all usually. I hope i was some help, just adding a tid-bit of info to help you out :

You just want to be like me. Copy-cat pansy. I need to get back to ranging too, just need to swap out between different slayer monsters. Aventies or whatever the carp those thingys are called, don't appeal to me. If i rang em, I feel as if I'm wasting my time since I'll be getting a kill count, but not going into Kree'arra's lair. Progress so far: (Along with 7 other Carpentry levels I'm to lazy to put up) Started at 64 prayer. I should hit 70 this week. And I've been playing around with my sword and chest plate in Castle Wars and duel areana. I'll never sell that sword.

First, a bit about myself. I started playing nearly 3 years ago, and have always played for friends and fun. Range has always been my favorite skill, and castle wars, Dks, and talking to people were my major loves within the game. I'm more of a combat person then a skiller, and never really cared much for money, save when i needed it. Friends are probobly the only reason I am still playing and will continue to play. I have never been rich. Max amount of gold I ever had was 7m to buy guthans with. My bank's best items were guthans, veracs, lotsa arrows (100k irons BEFORe buy-x) and random junk, but I was always happy with what I had. And now, to the point: Well, today I came back after a little vacation, and, after a bit of wandering, I decide, "I'm bored." Thinks to self "Hm........ how bout a boss monster? No-one is on to go to DKs. joy. Chaos elemental? I don't feel like dealing with revenants. Revenants! *Goes off to kill Revenant Knight. Coin drop* -.- Oh fine, I guess I'll do as Airlesswig does, off to Armadyl!" Now, i realize with my stats, I'm hardly the best character to solo Kree'arra, and I've only been about 4 times, but I still have a well-rounded tank. Well, I head off to the melting dungeon and start killing spiritual warriors for the entrace fee. However, i brougth a holy book instead of unholy, so Mr. Gorak comes to take a bite out of me, and, during the course of my 40 kill count, proceeds to eat me even if i try to block him behind a wall. *Swordfish drop* I'm saved! Heal up, and into the void. The fight starts off well enough, 48 ruby bolt spec, followed by a couple high hits before i switch to my diamond bolts. Kree'arra's lil' swordsman is ripping me apart, as well at the avatars melee attack. I'm gulping 3 doses of brew at a time, attacking, then healing more. Pure chaos, good thing too, I didn't come to be bored. That bird had me dancing all over he room to keep it from swooping down and landing a nice melee hit on me, but eventually I was trapped in a corner. still, i kept gulping down my potions and firing off my bolts. Finally, after Armadyl's servant and his bodyguards hit a couple 20s, i shoot the final bolt. Wham, 32 on Kree'arra and the bird falls to the ground. I don't ever look at the drop, I'm to preoccupied with killing the melee servant who is carving me like a roast beast. Then, after a couple seconds, i remember, "oh, what did the bird give me?" Well, i pan the camera around to search for my loot, and i see something blueish on the ground. I think to myself," heh, naw, it isn't......." It was. *Insert 15 minutes of fast typing, shoutings, shaking, and pinching myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming* 141,200,000 coins. And the max I've ever had before was 7m. Recipe for heart attack. Well, sadly I couldn't be charitable and give to my friends, I really wish I could return what you have given me, since I wouldn't be playing without them, but this is for you. Airlesswig, if you read this, thank you. You are my monster hunter aspiration and hero. You inspired me to go to Armadyl in the first place and to monster hunt as much as I do. Keep going, you will acheive your hilt, and, once again, Thank You ^.^ So far, I have purchased a Saradomin Godsword, Armadyl legs, 70 carpentry and 70 prayer. I have roughly 9.5m left in my bank that I am just staring at. Please rate me as well as my story.

It's a scrying glass in the portal room of POH. It allows a player to see an area that they can teleport to with thier portals, it's accually quite funny in camelot or W2 falidor, all the people go crazy, it's not a bug. If i'm not clear, I'll elaborate more

No! This is horrible! A boss monster that helps SKILLERS?!?! Gah! WHy would skillers kill a boss monster? And a Boss mosnter that requires TACTICS?!?! NO! You, Sir, have lost the true spirit of the game. Allo :mrgreen: WEll, despite the fact that I was deadthly afraid of spiders, and still am to some extent, I like this idea. It requires a team o knowledgablepeople, which is good, no more soloing. Plus it provides a challenge, which is something I always look out for. Plus the tactics with the pillars and lighting them seems like a great way to add another vairable in there to add to teh challenge/knowledge/tactics, all three are very important factors in the fun of fighting. The need for one of thseo super antidotes seems over the top, maybe just 2 doses of super anti instead. Also, when he "freezes" you (wraps in web) you should be able to eat/tele, jsut not attack, like wyverns. it seems to be very skiller required and rewarding, which we really need more of, it adds flavor. Also, an easier path to get to the place would be nice, underground pass is hell. Overall, I like it. Maybe it could drop pages, like mith dragons, that shed light on Iban (always liked him) and how the spider came to be. Sounds good for ZP, eh? \

Well, thsi has been a small lil' goal of mine, just something to keep me occupied when I found that range was boring me :lol: I really enjoy all skills alot, the only ones I don't find fun are woodcutting and fishing, but I usually don't train those, so I'm good there. My next goal is 70 mining and 68 smithing which is in progess now, and then I'll probobly go back to ranging WHILE mining addy. Lota money there, heehee :anxious: Well, here are my stats, and the level that was the last to reach 60 I was abotu to kill myself when I found out I missed the pic #-o I misread the exp left, and went for the tool leprechaun before the message showed up. Shot at 2007-08-18 There ya go :mrgreen: This safe spot works for the northern most point, all you do is trap the ghorak so that he is behind the stalagtites. However, on occassion, a ghorak from the fairy ring will come near you, so just go into the cloud bank and he will go away, you don't even have to go far. Plus, I've found more gems = more half keys = left half faster 8-) And if you use this, please atleast credit me Edit: Shot at 2007-08-18

The degrading community is one of the biggest problems in RS, and, despite what you may say, people like you are part of the problem. Gez, lsoign ranging equipment sucks. I lost robin, rangeres boots, zammy d hide and lotsa other stuffs when I got dced at blue dragons, but a friend.. At your range level, fire cape should be a breeze, there is only one factor to get in your way.... Can you prayer switch? I tried for ym cape at around 83 mage and 80 def or so, 60 prayer. You can get to Jad easy if you don't be stupid and get to close to the 360's, but prayer switching is all it is, and that is why I failed. Anyways, I'd never really use my cape, accumulator is mroe practical while ranging, heehe. :) Good luck at congrats with 80 range!! Heh, I still remeber all my lvl 10 jumps frm level 40 range.. good times \ If you ever wanna range together sometimes, just ask! Plus I coudl always use another parter at KBD if i ever go, rare occasions

Well, I'm Mark, AKA WArrior5024 (Hate my name) and I started playing about two and a half years ago. I've always loved range and have finally started to race after my goal of 99. I have been training range with slayer from the past 4 range levels :roll: And I accually find it fun, as I get exp in 3 skills, plus it is a varaity. I will not use chins, Pest control, or a cannon, and I never have. After 99 range, i may go after 99 defence and hp to tank, but my second favorite skill is crafting, and I will achive that directly after 99 range. Range is my first 90, and will be my first 99. I'm glad you find agility fun! Some of us don't like the wilderness course, but it's what I'm stuck with until 70 agility, as the Brimhaven place doesn't appeal to me much. The picture won't copy the way I want it to! Sorry man, you'll have it in about 2 weeks when I can get back home. Bumpity
