  1. Fear me. I became desperate for looks once I sold my armadyl. I like it though.
  2. I do miss my first months, back in 2004. Now everything is so rushed, so economically focused. Alot has changed. I was shocked when my friend said "sell your 80k irons" that I've had for years and have been using for range. GWD, Void Knight, Mithril Dragons, Slayer, Hunter, Summoning, every thing is so complex. Give me the old days where every one dreamed of wearing dragon armor, or of slaying the barrows brothers. When 85 magic meant charge spell and teleblock, the ultimate pker. When range was on the bottom, with a rune arrow max of 24. The dragon scimitar was THE training and killing weapon, as the first whip went for 150m. A granite maul would name a player wealthy, with it's 300k price tag. Dragon Square shields labeled you untouchable, and ranger boots were 300k. I miss those days.
  3. AS an avid castle wars player, I have to say I really don't enjoy this idea. Destroying the doors leave you enough room to move an army. This is runescape, hundreds of people can stand in a single space. Newton's laws do not apply. Just seems kinda pointless.
  4. Rares lost their economical abilities after staking was taken out. They won't always rise in price, as said before our economic crash. The are now just what they should have been used for: decoration. But peoples can't handle that. They can't take losing a bit of money. Investors panic and sell, so the price plummets. No-one has faith in the economy anymore. It is just a ridiculous plane of chaos, greed, wealth, nervousness, and normal oddities. Stop trying to analyze it.
  5. For pineapple pizzas, simply buy the normal pizza in warrior's guild, then slice up pineapples and put on top of 'em. Quick, easy, and alot of healing.
  6. Very dedicated, or you just like your whip alot. Either way, that is amazing. 10/10
  7. A grand achievement, I admit, no matter what others say. I remember when I got all 60+, it is just a good feeling to know that all of your skills are being utilized, you are a player in every aspect. 100%
  8. Back-to-back saradomin swords. Me and my friend went in for a duo, but a guy waiting at the dungeon door asked if he could join, so we let me. We made his day. Back to bursting ape's for 94 magic.
  9. Everyone keeps saying "WTF" "pointless." I find these topics fun. Well, everyone says "Ancients will win." well, how many members regularly use ancients? Most would equip their torso, verac skirts, whips, and beat the hell outa f2p anyways. A Rune 2-hander can't easily strike a hit on anything with 150+ defence, nevertheless 200+. Also, rune and dragon hide can't withstand dragon weapons, or even powerful magical spells. This battle could be 10:1 free, members, but members would pull through. I think this would be cool to see, minus the bans and the whole "have to pay if f2p loses."
  10. I've held every hilt, but only sued Saradomin, Bandos and Zamorak Godswords. Saradomin is the most helpful, but I loved my Zamorak one. Castle wars, duels, house parties, freezing is a good tactic.
  11. To Lower levels maybe, but a low level familiar should not be powerful. On higher levels however, there are. Example: The Hydra. This little guy can hit 18's with range or melee attacks (non-scroll), hits about the speed of a 2h, and gives 100% range xp. I use them at avians alot and they do a considerable ammout of damage, sometimes killing an avian before I do. The one downside is that is requires level 80 summon. Which is repectiable considering it would be overpowered if something like this could be used at say, level 40. So really familiar wise, there is something useful for everyone, you just might have to train to a higher level to find it. Still, as good of a familiar as the hydra is, you still have to be attacked in order for it to work, something I do not enjoy while ranging. Danqalzmlp, you hit the nail in the head, as usual.
  12. All I think, that we would need is something that trains magic/range that works in the same way the Spirit Kyatt special works, calls it directly into combat and stays.
  13. So they attack me? Then why range :)
  14. BEFORE YOU READ: I am NOT saying range is underpowered. I am talking about how you cannot use summoning to help you train range. All of this also applies to mages who use single combat spells to train (all 11 of you  ) As most rangers (not chinners) have discovered, summoning, while it has opened a massive doorway in the Runescape house, really does not help with range training. When you call a familiar into combat, it will come if you are being attacked, and, while ranging, you should not be under attack if you do it right. However, say that you get hit by another monster collecting your loot, the familiar will engage in combat, hit the monster 3-4 times, then turn around and look at you, if you are no longer being attacked. Now, shout at me, "Use scrolls!" I have. SOME scrolls are effective, such as the minotaur bull rush, but that gives defense exp, costs 217 gp per scroll, and you have to pick between using your range attack, or using a scroll, you cannot use two at once. The karamathulhu overlord (one of my favorite familiars) DOES give range exp, but, as I said, it will not continue to attack the monster if the monster is not attacking me, and the scrolls are both costly, annoying, and very inaccurate. This really leaves rangers without good familiar training help.
  15. Ever since "Smoking Kills" you can get 2 tasks in a row.
  16. The concept is neat, but never let people in your clan know you have a Godsword. Never a moments peace.
  17. How many people have tried to start up clans called "Castle Wars Legends."? Or how many kid's clubs are named "Team Extreme,"?
  18. Alright make summon f2p. Have fun starting wolf whistle and getting charms.
  19. Wait, so you are blaming Jagex on you swearing? And you getting punished for breaking a rule? Effing if like, " I hate all these n'ers." Nope, not offensive at all.
  20. There is a reason why addy/rune ores are more expensive as other raw materials from woodcutting or fishing.
  21. No job, no school, no calendar needed
  22. Skills are different for different people. I prefer Construction over prayer or smithing. You seem to use your opinion's to try and print fact. And nothing in RS is hard, just gotta stick to it.
  23. Zaros is hardly a demi-god as he is called. He fougth against Zamorak and Armadyl, plus 2 other army's I don't remember. Iban is also a forgotten diety. Son of Zamorak? The only reason you guys managed to kill him in "underground Pass" is because he was just revived from the dead. Bandos is weak. Saradomin is a pansy. Zamorak and Armadyl for me.
  24. Glad you are back, Gin and Tonic. I can understand wanting to win, but.... fight. Don't just spec the guys out. It isn't as fun as watching when you are both low hits, only 1 blow away, and one of you knocks the other out just as he eats a shark. I need sleep
