Every once and a while I'll type something rethink my judgement and delete it. As I am taping the backspace button it goes back on my browser :ohnoes: and I panic for about the next minute until I can access a server and log on, but it has never taken a full minute so It may have logged me off the second I hit backspace. :-k I'm not sure and nothing bad has come of it yet but it just kind of bugs me. Oh and now I'm very paranoid when i hit the backspace button :-$

Definately autos are the reason yew and lobbies have gone down. Seems to me that lobbies have stayed at a consistent 200 each for at least the past couple of months. Without autoers I can say that Lobbies and yews would go up in price again. When lobbies hit 500gp a pop you can say " #-o Where'd all the autos go? I need cheap food and wood!" PS Don't get me wrong I hate autos too but I'm just saying this is probably whats going to happen.

It's hard to help on that quest because it was so long and you did it as fast as you could and forgot it even quicker. But I've helped a few with what to do next in that one and the Prince Ali quest. But sometimes they don't get it and well :wall: i just tell them to use a website like this one.

Blaek's idea is interesting about people abondoning gp and moving to other means of currency. Instead of selling yew logs to get the money for a set of zammy why not just trade the yews for the zammy? You need to get mith ore why not trade your freshly made daggers for the ore? The only reason that will not work is because there is no item that would be comprable to the gp and newbies will not switch over to the player made currency due to the fact the Jagex hands them gp and tells them that this is our equivalent to money. But could you imagine? A world where full rune costs 250 mill feathers? :ohnoes:

lol ^ he's got the right idea. You can make over 100k in one kill if you smart and strong enough. I myself don't pk, i just can't do it :notalk: As for iron vs. coal I guess iron could be more profitable, but i get more satisfaction out of mining coal i'll just keep doing my way :wall: until i get enough

You can't tell them how to play, that's what the first island is for. And anyone who is decent enough for you to be nice to usually isn't a n00b and can fend for themselves. The best option I see is answer any question you can and give any advice possible. Oh and be polite :evil:

edit: i was about to argue but you were right, i wasn't up to date on what i was talking about. I guess what i was trying to say was is that there is always a high demand for coal and it will not go away until smithing becomes useless. Coal is a guarenteed sell but iron might take a bit longer to find a buyer because it is so easy to mine.

Jagex has improved greatly in the scamming area I remember when I started about 5 years ago there were at least 20 popular scams (my friend who shall remain nameless pulled them all) and now you got 3-5 (I don't really keep up) Beggers will exist as long as money is hard to earn and politeness well... Jagex can't fix that one. Autos I don't mind, they keep inflation down no offense, it's sad but i think lobbies would go up to 500 gp a pop if we had absolutely no autoers for a year. I don't like 'em and I don't want 'em to stay but they aren't hurting anyone. It's improved, go Jagex :thumbsup:

coal is where the money is made, but i don't sell i smith all my stuff, it's a pain in the well anyway. Coals gotta be the best money use mining guild if you can. I think after my training i'm gunna go back to mining, i only got 100k :boohoo:

When my account got stolen I started a new character, at lvl 10 i was walking south of varrock when the lvl 20 black mage attacked me, I forgot this wasn't my old character and went into battle with my iron :oops: . To make it quick I died ran back north grabbed all of my stuff and made it to a safer training spot. Not exactly horrible but it hurt my ego. Luckily I got my account back 2 hours later \

There is too much to show them, you know that phrase "sunday driver" it means a christian who is only good on sundays. Just be nice to newbs all the time and a newb day won't be necessary. Although I'm thinkin about smithin a couple sets of iron just to hand out on christmas. Maybe that would be a bit easier and more subtle.

No monster gives better exp then another monster so I choose based on their drops, anyone else train this way? Which is why I choose giants for combat, knights for mage, and i need a good choice for range, still searching...

Well if you think about it who would buy ripped clothes? I guess Jagex overestimated the style choosings of it's players, but i noticed it too even though the ripped look wasn't something I was interested in. Someone should check out the ripped pants which might still be an option which would blow my previous idea away. Don't you love contradicting yourself?

I give them the benefit of the doubt but if they have to resort to referring to a (real or fictional) other "main" character they have lost all respect in my eyes.

Personally if you have a 40+ fishing you can stay on karamja forever and kill anything from skeles to lessers without leaving the island until you feel like it. Karamja from 40 up in my opinion, after D'Slayer you can go back to Entrana and kill the moss giants there. But Ice warriors and Giants are still a great option, only no quick access to food, you have to go all the way to fally, but the drops are better then mossies. It's all preference. And keep in mind, it's not what you kill but how hard you hit that gets the exp.

n00b (EQ spelling) has been twisted from it's original meaning on every game. At first it was a term of affection even on runescape ("aww the n00by can't find the monastary here follow me we can go together") but it has been used by those who want to insult you, call you an inexperienced player. The biggest insult (for me at least) is when a lower lvl obviously weaker and less experienced player says "ya well n00b my main can own you" they think that they are better for hiding behind this other persona (whether true or untrue) The best defense in my opinion is to switch worlds, it's not like the old days where there were just three :lol: be a better person and help this term die out A.S.A.P.

The way i read the update is that they will be structured around existing prayers with three different lvls of increasing power (the 5%, 10%, and 15% stat boosts) I'm bettin they will be f2p because they deal with f2p abilities, just like new crossbows weren't f2p due to the close involvement with the fletching skill. But only Jagex knows what the final product will be.

In my opinion you should always have your character open to every option, and i agree that time spent on more then one account is time wasted, you can do everything with one account that you could do with another plus you can save about 5$ a month. But if any secondary accout is made a pure would be a good focus for that account. But what do i know, my main is only 65 :roll:

Ok this is my first post but i know what i am saying. Rune long has more power then the rune scimmy but it is slower. The question is which should you chose? Both are strong in slash attacks so thats not the issue, the scimmy can keep up with quick hitting monsters but you will hit about 2 pts. lower then long (at least for me) i figure for each hit i could get a little extra damage w/ rune long then getting less damage more often with a scimmy. It's all about preference, find what you like. Maybe a poll should be made: "rune long or rune scimmy?"
