  1. If you look at serp883's vid "Runescape Cache Finds 5" you'll see 2 associated items, the first of which is shown in the box in the POH, so i'm guessing the pipe will feature in the emote http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5xnvAR8PP4 Hopefully it will produce a huge cloud of smoke... millions of particles... and the emote will be called Smokin Mils
  2. What he clearly intended to say was: "24hoursawake, the new skill coming out is bugged, so we can't possibly release it any time soon"
  3. I love that one too! Even helped with the 30 man synchronization at the end Gandorf, which one are you? What are you wearing? And did the people actually dance together? I presumed that each person had been individually "bluescreened' against the POH grass and edited in And yeah, i voted for the linedancing vid
  4. The work of Mattie9999 and acenator on Circus points is very interesting http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=785980 But according to my calculations it's impossible to get even Clown without sacrificing experience Do you reckon Jagex were being deliberately nasty when they thought this up? Or did they just not bother to do the maths? My calculations on circus points 1 successful trick at each level: 719 5 clothing pieces that give points: 25 10 emotes: 30 Preferred emote for location: 75 Preferred trick for location: 75 Total: 924 Then there is the difficult question of audience requests... you get 15 points if you do a request immediately afterwards, so starting low level and working up, one might be able to average 3 requests, so 45 points average. If one was very lucky one might be able to do 5 requests, so 75 maximum. 924 + 75 = 999 points Clown requires 1,001 points
  5. As i started keeping a record of the circus in Lumbridge and we are back there again, i've changed my routine... Expected number of points for Magic and Agility 10 extra points for Ranged (Before the lvl 70 trick the audience requested ducks lvl 50 which i did as the 3rd following trick, and before the lvl 60 trick the audience requested ducks lvl 40 which i did as the 3rd following trick) Username: Llavada Location of Circus: Lumbridge Clothing: Slave shirt, robe + boots Agility Event Description: 99-10 Juggle - No failures Agility Event Points: 719 Mage Event Description: 99-60 Alchemy / 50-10 Elemental - No failures Mage Event Points: 719 Ranged Event Description: THROWING AXES 99-60 Wheel / 50-10 Ducks - Failed 99, 80 + 70 Ranged Event Points: 403
  6. In early 2006 i knew this guy (he had a strange delusion that he was my boyfriend) and, as we were both into computer games, he suggested we find an online game we could play together Then i read an article on the BBC News about how great it was to hang out with your mates... and it was free to play! http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/4774534.stm So i went thru tutorial island and then told the guy about it, saying it would take him no more than 15 minutes from registering to arriving in Lumbridge, where i would wait for him at an agreed time... And i waited and waited and waited in Lumbridge whilst trying to contact him by other means Eventually i gave up waiting and decided to play the game on my own When i did get hold of him, he declared that the game was "too difficult" and that he didn't want to play So i continued to play on my own And the guy? He went on to play World of Warcraft

  10. I also lent out for 5 hours before the update and have had the item returned about 2 hours ago, so don't worry
  11. Agility No extra points Mage No extra points (Before the lvl 60 trick the audience requested levitate lvl 30 which i did as the 4th following trick) Ranged 10 extra points (Before the lvl 60 trick the audience requested ducks lvl 40 which i did as the 3rd following trick, and before the lvl 50 trick the audience requested ducks lvl 20 which i did as the 4th following trick) Username: Llavada Location of Circus: Falador No emotes throughout Clothing: sailor's hat, spottier cape, boots of lightness Agility Event Description: 99-10 Tightrope - No failures Agility Event Points: 719 Mage Event Description: 99-60 Teleport / 50-10 Levitation - Failed 90 Mage Event Points: 604 Ranged Event Description: KNIVES 99-60 Wheel / 50-10 Ducks - Failed 80 Ranged Event Points: 627
  12. This week i wore the same clothing (including 1 treasure trail item) for all the performances Got 5 extra points in both Agility and Mage, but the Ranged performance gave me 90 extra points... so deducting the 5 points for the beret, this means that i somehow acquired an extra 85 points for the Ranged performance Username: Llavada Location of Circus: Edgeville No emotes throughout No audience requests performed Clothing: black beret, spottier cape, boots of lightness Agility Event Description: 99-10 Tightrope - No failures Agility Event Points: 724 Mage Event Description: 99-60 Teleport / 50-10 Levitation - No failures Mage Event Points: 724 Ranged Event Description: KNIVES 99-60 Wheel / 50-10 Ducks - No failures Ranged Event Points: 809
  13. This week i put on my ranged clothing, then by mistake i first talked to the Magic Assitant! But it didn't seem to make any difference to my performance, so i think this "performance boosting clothing" is a waste of time Agility - 5 extra points (presumably from the boater) Mage - 10 extra points Ranged - 20 extra points (wearing no treasure trail items) Username: Llavada Location of Circus: Taverley No emotes throughout No audience requests performed Performance order: Mage-Ranged-Agility The Mage and Ranged audiences called out requests normally, but during the Agility performance there were only occasional requests at lengthy intervals from 2 difficult-to-see spots so it would be easy to miss them Agility Event Description: 99-10 Tightrope - No failures Clothing: green boater, spottier cape, boots of lightness Agility Event Points: 724 Mage Event Description: 99-60 Teleport / 50-10 Levitation - Failed 70 + 20 Clothing: archer helm, fury, black d'hide, snakeskin boots, unholy book, archers ring, accumulator Mage Event Points: 611 Ranged Event Description: KNIVES 99-60 Wheel / 50-10 Ducks - No failures Clothing: archer helm, fury, black d'hide, snakeskin boots, unholy book, archers ring, accumulator Ranged Event Points: 739
  14. Agility - no extra points (like last week i wore the pirate's hat) Mage - 25 extra points Ranged - 15 extra points (which is odd as i'd been getting 25 extra points in the previous weeks) Username: Llavada Location of Circus: Catherby No emotes throughout No audience requests performed The Mage and Ranged audiences called out requests normally, but during the Agility performance there were only occasional requests at lengthy intervals from 2 difficult-to-see spots so it would be easy to miss them Agility Event Description: 99-10 Tightrope - Failed 99 Clothing: pirate's hat, spottier cape, boots of lightness Agility Event Points: 585 Mage Event Description: 99-60 Teleport / 50-10 Levitation - Failed 99, 80 + 60 Clothing: infinity set, fury, mystic staff, mage's book, seers ring Mage Event Points: 430 Ranged Event Description: KNIVES 99-60 Wheel / 50-10 Ducks - Failed 80, 70 + 50 Clothing: robin, fury, black d'hide, ranger boots, unholy book, archers ring, accumulator Ranged Event Points: 477
  15. Agility - wore pirate hat (treasure trail item) but got no extra points (719 less 134, less 115, makes 470, which is what i received) Mage - wore the same as last week, failed the same trick and got the same number of points, ie 30 extra points Ranged - as in previous weeks i got 25 extra points (wearing 2 treasure trail items) Username: Llavada Location of Circus: Seers Village No emotes throughout No audience requests performed Audience made requests in Mage and Ranged, but not Agility Agility Event Description: 99-10 Tightrope - Failed 99 + 90 Clothing: pirate hat, spottier cape, boots of lightness Agility Event Points: 470 Mage Event Description: 99-60 Teleport / 50-10 Levitation - Failed 99 Clothing: infinity set, fury, mystic staff, mages's book, seers ring, accumulator Mage Event Points: 615 Ranged Event Description: KNIVES 99-60 Wheel / 50-10 Ducks - Failed 60 + 30 Clothing: robin, fury, black d'hide, ranger boots, unholy book, archers ring, accumulator Ranged Event Points: 626
  16. Got 25 extra points for Ranged (10 for the 2 treasure trail items plus the mysterious 15 points)... so, as Mattie has tried the black d'hide, i wore the archers ring for Agility (no extra points) and the accumulator for Mage (30 extra points) I take it that an audience request is only fulfilled if one does it immediately as the next trick after it's called out (The audience calls for a particular trick for a while, then they change to calling out for a different trick) Username: Llavada Location of Circus: Gnome Stronghold No emotes throughout No audience requests In all the events the audience made requests (Mage and Ranged after the 1st trick, Agility not until i'd done the 3rd trick even though i waited ages) Agility Event Description: 99-10 Tightrope - No failures Clothing: spottier cape, boots of lightness, archers ring Agility Event Points: 719 Mage Event Description: 99-60 Teleport / 50-10 Levitation - Failed 99 Clothing: infinity set, fury, mystic staff, mages's book, seers ring, accumulator Mage Event Points: 615 Ranged Event Description: KNIVES 99-60 Wheel / 50-10 Ducks - No failures Clothing: robin, fury, black d'hide, ranger boots, unholy book, archers ring, accumulator Ranged Event Points: 744
  17. Agility - The amulet of glory(t) didn't add any points.. does this mean that treasure trail items only count in circus clothing slots? Magic - Wore the wizard boots when talking to the assistant but removed them when standing on the maging spot before the performance, but got no extra points for wearing them... so presumably one has to wear clothing throughout the performance to get the clothing points Ranged - Got 15 extra points (25 less 10 for the 2 treasure trail items)... this is 3 weeks in a row now! And i'm certain i didn't do any audience requests Username: Llavada Location of Circus: West of Varrock No emotes throughout No audience requests Agility Event Description: 99-10 Tightrope - No failures Clothing: amulet of glory(t), spottier cape, boots of lightness Agility Event Points: 719 Mage Event Description: 99-60 Teleport / 50-10 Levitation - Failed 70, 50 + 10 Clothing: wizard boots when talking to the assistant, moved to maging spot and changed into other clothing with no treasure trail items Mage Event Points: 549 Ranged Event Description: KNIVES 99-60 Wheel / 50-10 Ducks - No failures Clothing: robin, fury, black d'hide, ranger boots, unholy book, archers ring, accumulator Ranged Event Points: 744
  18. As i'd previously forgotten that the audience even existed, i only paid them any attention on my last circus visit... As i remember it, they shouted "Do something" when i stood in the performance place and only started requesting after i'd done the first trick It's also possible that the more tricks i'd done, the more likely it was for the audience call out They also usually - but not always! - requested a trick from a different section of the performance from which i'd just done (when i was teleporting they'd usually request alchemise, when i was doing the wheel they'd usually request the ducks)
  19. acenator, your idea about the treasure trail items counting for 5 points appears to be correct This week i wore the clothing before talking to the magic assistant... got 20 extra points (so 15 for the audience request + 5 for the wizard boots) Like last week, i got an extra 25 points for the ranged event... was wearing 2 treasure trail items and didn't see an audience request for any of my moves but i suppose i could have missed it I meant to remove the circus hat after talking to the agility assistant, but discovered that this isn't possible when one is on the tightrope Incidentally i noticed that previously my weight was always "0kg" on the tightrope, but today my weight was "-8kg", so they've changed this Username: Llavada Location of Circus: East of Varrock No emotes throughout Agility Event Description: 99-10 Tightrope - Failed 80 Clothing: circus hat, spottier cape, boots of lightness Agility Event Points: 622 Mage Event Description: 99-60 Teleport / 50-10 Levitation - Failed 90, 80 + 20 Clothing: mystic hat, fury, infinity top bottoms & gloves, wizard boots, mystic staff, mage's book, seers ring 1 audience request Mage Event Points: 494 Ranged Event Description: KNIVES 99-60 Wheel / 50-10 Ducks - Failed 70 Clothing: robin, fury, black d'hide, ranger boots, unholy book, archers ring, accumulator Ranged Event Points: 654
  20. The rarest item isn't a bronze arrow (p+). An untrimmed slayer cape is rarer, there isn't one!As well as Slayerbelle (already mentioned) Anas 0 Thone has an untrimmed slayer cape http://hiscore.runescape.com/hiscoreper ... as_0_thone
  21. Ah, you've got me now... i can't remember.. But as i took the stuff in my inventory and did the mage event before the ranged event, it's very possible that i talked to the mage assistant, put on the mage clothing, and then later changed into the ranged gear and then talked to the ranged assistant Will have to check out this matter at the next circus! This is interesting... i'm thinking... IF (and this is uncertain) tricks are more likely to succeed when wearing performance-boosting clothing (weight reduction for Agility and attack bonus for Magic & Ranged) THEN people could maximise points by putting on the circus gear to talk to the assistant, remove it, put on the performance-boosting clothing and then do the event
  22. Magic clothing: mystic hat top & bottom, fury, mystic staff, unholy book, rune gloves, WIZARD BOOTS, Lumbridge ring Aglilty clothing: spottier cape, boots of lightness
  23. Sorry Mattie but i don't think this can be the case... I got no extra points for the other 2 performances, even though i was wearing magic and agility clothing for them And surely there's only 3 possible clothes for agility (boots of lightness, spotty/spottier cape, penance gloves) I suddenly remembered reading that one got extra points for doing what the audience called out, with more points for doing higher level moves So i suspect that i got the extra points for accidentally doing what the audience was shouting out If this is the case then it rather complicates your work as we'll need to keep a close eye on the audience whilst doing the performance By the way, i was wearing the different clothing for the 3 performances in an attempt to increase my chances of succeeding with the tricks, but i remain unsure if this has any effect So i'd be interested to know what other people think This is sort-of relevant as more successful tricks mean people get more points (and of course more XP), and the circus gear adds a max of 25 points to one's score, but successful tricks add a lot more points (134 for a lvl 99 move), so maybe people could get more points by wearing performance-boosting gear rather than circus gear
  24. Yes, i started at 99 and worked down to 10 Ranged clothing: robin, fury, black d'hide, ranger boots, archers ring, unholy book, accumulator And thanks for your work in unraveling the mysteries of the Circus The first post in this thread is very interesting and informative
