Rotating cameras will not effect autoers--most of them pick up things by color. Color inversion will also not work due to the fact that many autoers detect the colors at startup--they aren't always hard coded in. There really is no way to stop autoers. They will be around as long as runescape is. We can only deture them or slow them down. You would be surprised how advanced they are.

I see where you are coming from, but it wont happen. Jagex tries to keep their users safe (although its not their job), and if you are stupid and actually download an autoer instead of compiling the source yourself--there is a high risk of keylogging. Unless of course, jagex released a office autoer, which would be the only legal one to use that could only be used on these "macro" worlds. Anywho, it will never happen. As long as their is runescape, there will be autoers autoing illegally. Any way this topic goes, I wouldn't support.

The game is huge, but the company is extreamly small. All other MMO's are made by companies with many other games. Blizzard not only has WoW, but the warcraft, startcraft, and diablo series. Everquest is by sony, and guildwars is done by ArenaNet whom also has many other games. Jagex has one major product with few employies compared to their competators. Plus, they are marketing to younger people, which is not the direction many games stores as well as the majoity of the industry is going. I think guildwars also has more players than runescape, but I may be wrong.

Also, for the cooking and smithing cape--it shouldn't be usable in a bank.

You'd be surprised how difficult it is to get your product on store shelves, especially for a smaller game company like jagex.

You could tell. The graphics are stored locally on your hard drive. However, im not sure about the animations.

Not enough. There are already thousands of animations in the game. A few more wont matter.

I totally support. I'm hooked on construction, nearly level 70. With the estate agent, how about if he/she offers *special* housing locations or decor for guild members?

Its not at all economical for Jagex to make for F2P updates. While that doesn't mean I don't think they should, I can see why they don't. F2P is meant to attract new players, and once they get to a certain point allow them to expand their game play. Feeding them more content will mean less subscribers.

When you do more parts of the quest, the chest expands.

Furthermore, some ISPs (roadrunner inparticular) when you reset your cable "modem" it changes your IP. Either way, bad idea. What if I am playing on a public connection that someone else is autoing on?

(+) I like it, although--it seems a little imbalanced meaning some capes have a significantly better use than others Construction- One time use is kinda lame. Any other ideas for this one? Fishing- Why limited uses? The items being spawned aren't that valuable anyway Cooking- Useless IMO... how about some type of fire or mini range with same effect as smithing anvil? Mining- Unlimited charges to teleport to mining guild? I smell a metal market crash. 99 miners would be pulling in coal/iron 2x as fast. Not good for the economy.

I read the entire thing the first time though. please do not ask for constructive criticism if your going to get mad when someone doesn't agreeing with you. I wasn't flaming, just saying why I didn't like it. If you cant handle the fact that everyone doesn't share your views then I suggest that you don't make any further suggestions.

I like all of it, except the neon wacky colored stuff. Doesn't fit the game. IMO. Awesome job on everything else though :thumbsup:

Sorry if this has been discussed before but..... Well, I was scammed out of 10 million gp (10 million!). While I admit it was my fault for rushing and not checking things (bad thing to do when trading rares) I didnt catch the guys name (difficult in world 2 you see). Along with al the other (great) trade inmprovments suggested here, having a log of the last 20 or so trades you have made would be great not only to get scammers--but to better keep track of how much money your making etc. Let me know what you think \

Why do this? So autoers and scammers can make a large number of accounts quickly? It only takes 10 minutes to go through if you know what your doing. How many accounts do ya really need?

Dude, no form of scamming is ok--no matter how stupid the victim is. When I first started Runescape, I barley trained skills. I was a merchanter for the first years I played the game. I was selling a pumpkin, and a guy offered 2 sets of guthan for it. Little did I know at the time, leaf spears are worthless and I lost about 10mil. Your telling me, becuase I had little experience with barrows items that it was ok for that guy to scam me like he did? I had worked hard for the cash, and he just ripped it away from me. I nearly quit. Come back and comment when you have a CLUE about what your saying.
