  1. I glanced through it - looks pretty good except for "O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {E0E899AB-F487-11D5-8D29-0050BA6940E3} - (no file) " Either it's a deleted toolbar, or a virus running in memery embedded in IE :) Other then that, you look fine, and I wouldn't worry about it because your running Windows Defender. Don't take my word for it, though. I'm not an expert on HijackThis.
  2. (rant) Hey, what's with the "hacker is bad" mindset? Hackers are the people responsible for securing your software, and I don't mean in a bad way. There are many professional "white-hat" hackers who work for security companys and create patches. "Hacker" is anyone who modifies there computer to make it do something it was not designed to do, not a person who tries to break into other people's computers. The press has made the the term hacker derogatory, and people consider them bad. I'm a self proclaimed hacker and geek, but I've never done something bad such as break into someone else's computer (unless, they've forgotten their password and requested I do that) Just wanna tell everyone: Hackers are not necessarily bad. (/rant) Other then that, if you download Spybot and Ad-Aware, then scan your computer after updating your antivirus software, you should be fine.
  3. Full guthix - deff ammy if you want looks, power if you want bonus, along with WC cape.
  4. [*url=http://www.blahblahblah.com*]URL Text[*/url*] (minus the stars)
  5. I personally enjoy Runescape Dragonfable, AND AdventureQuest. Runescape is defenitally better, but the others are pretty cool too :-)
  6. How is that helping him. Dude, the truth is that whenever you go to that magic bloke, he will transport you 'Somewhere' in that place, most of the time it's in the center or at one of those points. Yes, it's random. It may be random, but it seems that you land on certain "points" Their is five or six spots you seem to land almost all of the time. At least, it seemed that way to me when I was mining 4k ess. I got so bored I started marking where I landed every time by dropping ashes :
  7. Yep - hope for the random and hope for the hat from the random - the chances of getting before christmas are small, though. I drop all random stuff - F2P bank's to small to clutter with junk
  8. Do what I did - walk back and forth between air alter and bank - again and again and again and again. I got 41 rc (f2p) doing this, untill I stumbled upon the world 16 air company #-o
  9. If you mean Zamorack is more expensive, it's not. If you mean its cooler, your right :) Zamorack is around 2.0-2.1m for full, but I think it looks cooler, and I've almost got a set of it (full rune G and 500k ATM)
  10. Ok, I'll probably go with abyss if Entrana is slower - I have no fear of ancients with dd++ - I can always tele before I die. The thing I hate is magers that bind, tb, then fire wave Died five times total, and I've crafted over 10k nats on different accounts.
  11. Good luck - but usually if your a low level cutting yews in p2p, most people think your a skiller, not an autoer. After all, who would pay 5$ to make an account that would be banned in a few days
  12. I am 53 runecrafting on my 92 membs account, and I want to craft laws a while. I am wondering if it will be better to craft them with the abyss/glory method, or run on entrana? Anyone have time comparisions for the two? On average, I get pked every 2k nats using the abyss I plan to craft 10k+ laws, and I am trying to decide the best way. Please post advice.
  13. completely correct, jagex can scan your comp for macros; if none are on your computer, you're safe. No they can't. :? My understanding was that their system flagged accounts with suspicious activity (clicking on the same pattern of pixels, for example) then they look at the flagged accounts. Quite right - Jagex cannot scan your computer - Runescape is Java based, and Windows will not allow any Java program to mess with your computer. What Jagex DOES do is scan the mouse clicks/trading/talking of your character. If you are repeatedly clicking in the same spot, following the same path to your bank, clicking in the same spot to bank the logs, then running back and clicking in the same spot on the same tree and waiting until 15 seconds after the tree falls, they will easily detect that and ban you for a week and 8 black marks (ouch)
  14. Let me just point out a few things - RC PKing is not necessarily for people who are scared to be attacked. Although many will run out of the wilderness when attacked, remember that there are other pkers. Anyone standing out in the wilderness for an extended period of time is probably not scared of being attacked. Secondly, RC Pkers are not going after the pure essence. Anyone using the abyss uses a glory to tele back to edgville after crafting their essence. Third - Picking bananas is nowhere close to RC Pking. Although I do not believe RC Pking is ethical, it can be fairly profitable. PKing one rune crafter is a 60k glory amylet, which is as good as picking 15000 bananas and filling the crate 2000 times. A rc pker can kill two or three pkers his level, then switch to another world and repeat, earning about 300 times as much money as he could make picking bananas. Although as a Abyss Runecrafter I hate pkers, I think it has its advantages and sometimes provides a good income for PKers. It is not that hard to avoid being pked, either by using the skelys, wearing full black d hide, going around the back way, using a one click teleport, or all of the above.
  15. On my membs account, i've crafted about 9k nats, and lost 5 glories (mostly due to my lack of skill). That's a loss of 450k, and I personally dislike RC pkers. I laughed my head off one time when I managed to drop my glory before the kill, although when I teleported back I saw the guy who had pked me swearing at another guy for picking up "his" glory  . I also remember the time when I was at 37 hp from lagging in the abyss and forgetting to eat at bank. I realized it about halfway to the mage, but decided I had enough hp for a round or two more without risk. Suddenly, i'm encased in a chunk of ice, hitting a 30 on me. A level 89 runs up to me wielding a dd++, and specs me for a 2-1. At that second, I tele to edgville (finally) and head straight for my bank. The problem is, my bank is cluttered, and it took me nearly 7 seconds just to find some food Talk about stressful... I withdrew the food and ate it about 1/8th a second before poison hits a 6 on me - wow was I greatfull that day :D And I bet there was one disappointed ancients pker. Also taught me never to let hp below 50 :)
  16. What I ment was that it quickly gets boring picking up 3-4 arrows. I range lessers/moss giants, and that way I only have to pick up the arrows every now and then.
  17. Yes - In the long run, I get tired of picking up the drops, and eventually stop picking up the 9 arrows they drop, and the 3-4 arrows I shoot.
  18. The only problem with minuators is, they can be killed in 2-3 hits. After you kill them, you have to go over, pick up your arrows and whatever they drop, and start ranging another. It's annoying, and takes a while. I personally like the Lesser demons on Karmaja or Crandor.
  19. I still like it  That's what I thought when I first got the fighting boots, but now I've tried both and fancy dosen't look that bad. I'll have to try on both to see which I like better :) I was just hoping there was red f2p boots, but I'll have to do without YARTGUM = Yet Another Reason To Get Membership -.-
  20. Thanks - I guess i'll go with full zammy, red gloves, str ammy, ruby ring, fancy boots, and red cape
  21. So there's red f2p gloves?
  22. Are there any red or gold f2p boots? I'd like some to match full zammy or full rune (g). Currently, I have full (g) with gold gloves and fancy boots, but I'd like to try Zammy a while, and I'd like matching boots. Also, are there any f2p red gloves?
  23. Your forgetting that Jagex makes some money of the f2p advertisments. f2p is not a total loss for them. Also, image where Jagex would be if they cut off f2p. Few people would join, and as the remaining members quit, the population would drop, and Jagex could easily go broke. I think Jagex should give f2p just enough updates to keep most people playing, and continue to update members.
  24. I'm pure f2p, and I don't hate p2pers, although sometimes they seem a tad snoobish :)
  25. Gee. I wonder where people get this "typical arrogant member" generalization from.. :-k I second that observation I third that observation - not that I want to make people mad, but many members tend to look down on f2pers and ridicule their opinons.
