  1. RSC 2Hs were much better, they looked kind of like a broadsword, much more effective but they looked the same on the character (i think)
  2. i have been there a couple times for clues, even after the update, always had sara mage
  3. what were you stealing from and what did it hit you?
  4. and to be part way through desert treasure
  5. excellent writing, you need a scale on the graphs though, i was using them to try work out when i joined and it took me a moment to realise the were in thousands I am pretty sure when i started party hats were around 200k -500k (could be very wrong about that though) and i thought to myself, i am not going to pay that much for a silly hat, i will buy some armour and then mabye get it later. I shouldnt have listened to myself, i would have been set for life by now
  6. the one into yannille going in hasnt been there for a couple days
  7. they mentioned the bug + graphical fixes, this must have been it, i would have thought they would mention it though
  8. Did they put out an explanation about the lack of updates? i hate the jagex forums and i dont want to go there if i dont have to
  9. finally got round to some questing. During the cutscene when you are in the desert with the sphinx, about half way through it you just see a lump in the floor with what looks to be a chair leg in the corner. I might be wrong about that though but you certainly cant see the cats as they talk, has anyone else had this? is it meant to be like this? i was told it was a cool cutscene so can i see it again or does anyone have a video of it?
  10. does anyone else not know how frisbees were invented? they started as either old pie crusts or pie tins, my guess is you would throw them like that and they would just be regular food type pies (not as good as sharks of course) that you throw when they run away to try and give the meleers a little help when finnishing
  11. I think the author has missed a very large part of the internet history; now I know a lot of us are in our teens (myself included) and therefore we would not have been around to witness it but message boards, the older style forums. You have (some forums still use the format) a limited amount of characters to utilize and posting twice (even if it's a continuation of your previous post) is seen as a great offence. Because of this limit the first set of "net slang" started to come up. This set of abbreviations has permeated into the rest of society thanks to limited character sms txt messages (which people believe has actually saved our thumbs) and this has created a loop, the people now using the internet make use of this slang because of its previous association with the internet. I would like to point out something about the article though: In it I noticed you have used the comma quite often; a few times correctly but not always. I easily spotted with in the first two paragraphs instances where the semi colon (;) is meant to be used but has not been. I do not usually pick up people for punctuation but if you are going to comment on others then you need to check yours first. A continuation of this discussion: The English language is evolving, do you type "John's book" or "John his book"? The second phrase there might sound bizarre but it is the original and how it used to be written (the feminine abbreviation did not stick). Another example is colour/color although that was an attempted forced change (to make writing quicker as well) I am not lazy when it comes to typing but my typing usually is not as clear and concise as the above post. I have trouble with English even though it is my first language and I am very smart, yes I am tooting my own horn here, I am not going to why I make this statement but I am going to say do not judge others on their English skills; it just furthers the elitist frame of mind and if we hope to get along we must overlook it.
  12. i remember chasing after a chicken in classic getting angry at people when they killed it because i wanted it to lay an egg so i could finnish cook's assistant, some1 around the lumby/drynor chicken farm told me thats how u got the egg, it was only when i gave up and went to try get milk that i found the other chickens and the egg spawn
  13. i know at one point in classic they made the entire world rotate slightly regularly to off shoot the old autoers, i think it still does that, htis might just be a side effect
  14. do people still do this? i have 5 stones sitting in my bank and only 1 glory (died a couple times and i refuse to pay for a new 1 just yet) i know there was some1 who mentioned in his sig he did it, can any1 tell me who it is
  15. paul: woot check it out i just beat the new monster, and it dropped the new (insert what ever u think the new weapon will be) matthew: leave zezima's account alone (just to add more to the comical conversations involving woot going around the jagex office)
  16. that is a lot more reasonable than some of the suggestions i have seen, i like it but a god is certainly going to be harder than QK and with the wildy around it the d item better drop pretty often or its never going to enter the game
  17. they will probably do soemthing tricky with having the entrance in multi and the monster under it with slightly different to normal wildy rules
  18. the chance of it being full pirate gear i think is actually quite good, atleast a peg leg
  19. Jagex barely is releasing normal dragon armor let alone hop onto trimmed and let it be easyly obtained and with barrows i highly doubt they will ever release "full" dragon but people can dream about that, and no i dont think it will be d trim it was all as a joke as no1 really knows whats going to be released(lol d chain will be worth more than d chain t)
  20. I understand what you are saying but when most people talk they don't use technical statements like that. When someone says weapons they usually mean something used for the sole purpose of fighting (and maby lookin good 8) ). If they were talking bout a pic they would probably say tool or "Helpfull item". I hope you see my point. Yeah, but it's Jagex doing the talking, and if they call something a weapon in their manual, it's logical to assume they call it a weapon when they're talking about it. Look no further than the dragon axe drop. That's as much of a weapon as a pickaxe, and they called it a weapon. if u look at what the d axe is though it was designed as a weapon no a helpful tool
  21. a few people say d trim, but i wouldnt mind barrows trim lol bronze trim ftw though
  22. And the monster is the only 1 that drop the weapon, unlike the kbd that does not drop a unique item. most likely this thing will cost millions over what it is worth in bonuses :P My point is is that Jagex needs to stop making dragon monster drop only. What that does is continue to blow it out of proportion. I have said it hundreds of times; somthing lower on the 'smithing table' (and general store prices) should NOT be allowed to have a market value higher than somthing higher on that table. (eg; Dragon chain 23 mil, D legs 2.5... yeah, makes a LOT of senese). And now Jagex seems to not really care about it anymore, because they aren't taking any steps to remedy the problem. the simple fact taht they arent smithable and probably never will be mean they dont care about teh smithing table when it comes to d items
  23. is there a possibility that fire giants might drop it aswell? could be a giant fire giant lol (thinking of the letter here) and the regular fire giants have been scared into dropping theirs aswell
  24. i think that ranger walk of death also affects halliers, (dont hassle me, its the way i choose to fight and there are plenty of fire giants for the rest of you)
