  1. It is hard for me to understand why you are ignoring the point I'm trying to make and turning it into something else, Mr. School. All I'm trying to say is not to put faith in the numbers that we are given. Now, if after many years, G is still bigger than T, the deficit keeps growing. Easy as that. Uh. Yeah.
  2. Same here. According to GSW, the USA has at least a $9 Trillion deficit? I really want to find out how you know that exactly... For crying out loud! Can't you people bother to read what others have posted? I just answered it. According to my course 'introduction to economics', deficits are calculated in some way like this: Now, if after many years, G is still bigger than T, the deficit keeps growing. Easy as that. Can't you be bothered to read what I post? I'd like to see you do that equation, with the correct information of course.
  3. The thing I'm worried about is this: Under the Bush Administration, military spending has increased from 4 percent to nearly 8 percent. Due to the neglect of our national debt, it is rising at a rate of nearly $315 million dollars a day. Is this continues, the United States' economy will suffer a severe depression by 2008. Why am I worried? Because everything I just said, I made up. Can you really refute me? Sure, you might be able to point me to a news or government resource that states the national debt, or what exactly our military spending is, but that hardly makes it true. Do you really have any hard evidence, or just the numbers you're being given by the "experts"? Numbers lie, I wouldn't get too caught up in them.
  4. A long, long time ago, when my computer was slow, and PKs roamed the entire land; I was locked inside the kebab shop and killed because I couldn't open the door. :( Haha, It's hilarious now.
  5. I'm kind of interested in where all of these numbers come from, people seem to throw them around pretty freely.
  6. ... Are you serious? I'm with Shadow on this one. Whaaat? The idea that girls are only after serious relationships is very silly.
  7. You can upload a picture in your profile menu.
  8. Not true. Even the stereotypical nerd / geek are generally portrayed as "wanting to get ahead in life" rather than "constantly party" ;) Less ambitious...relationship-wise, I meant. Kind of relates to my 'less experienced' comment. Same could be said for why would you be interested in someone who treats the opposite sex like beanbags? Generally speaking about 'Jocks' there. Most girls who go after jocks tend not to be interested in love relationships, they just want the experience, so it works out for both parties. The whole thing is very situational though, I'd have to agree.
  9. Yeah, you'll have to find a smaller image.
  10. At the very bottom, almost. "Upload Avatar from your machine:"
  11. Click on "Profile", then upload your icon near the bottom.
  12. Name one thing. "Geeks" are long-term. Husband material. Your average jerky guy lasts all of a month and after that month, you'll feel like crap. Go to myspace once and look at random girls' profiles...I bet you anything, more than 50% of the time you'll see a blog about how guys are jerks and only want sex, wont' you? Yep, you will. If we're sticking to geek stereotypes here, the average geek isn't as attractive as a jock, is less ambitious, and less experienced. Why would you be interested in someone like that? Unless you like scrawny guys with poor social skills. I'm not referencing anyone, just sticking to the stereotype.
  13. Crowd pulling title. =D>
  14. At the risk of stepping over the line, I'll just say that girls like jerks because they have alot more to offer than geeks.
  15. Exactly what I was looking for, thanks. I'll pick up a Scimitar and see what kind of a difference there is.
  16. I've been out of the game for a while. The last time I played, everyone either used Battle Axes or 2-Handed Swords. Now, I see most people running around with Scimmys. Why is this? Is anyone able to give me a breakdown of what the different types of weapons are good for? Thanks.
  17. Imagine how many books, signs, everything that would have to be changed. Maybe we'll switch one day...
  18. Auberean replied to Defy's topic in General Discussion
Well, I doubt it'd be something like "The Story of Runescape: Auberean mines 10,000 coal". "Mine. Bank. Mine. Bank. Mine. Bank. Mine. Bank." But there is enough vague information to make a story in the Runescape universe along the lines of "The Brave Hero is sent on a mission by the god..."
  19. I was always really happy about getting an adamant battle axe, for some reason.
  20. 99 Smithing and Mining! :) Then Magic.

I'm sure Runescape has enough of a backstory for a novel to be written, and as they expand their markets, they might publish some books like Blizzard does for their games.
  22. Right now, lots and lots of chickens.
  23. They did something like this before, called the black hole. Once Moderator started throwing people in there, it's publicity grew and more people began to macro in order to get into it themselves. That's why the black hole experience was opened up.
  24. The game depends on a balance between free and paying players.

I watched that for the first time ever yesterday, haha.
