Certainly. Both the bully and your friends have problems, therefore you ought to show love to all of them. Why can't people just learn to love? Perhaps it's because some people have never seen love. If you want others to love, you have to show them love first. "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you" is quite the wise saying. I can't believe that bully has no idea how offended we were. I wish he could just learn from what he did...but sadly, I don't think that's going to happen.

Your only looking at it from your side. I told you that everyone has problems, and you agreed. That kid has problems too, and he expressed them in a negative way, just like your friends do when they cut their wrists. Making fun of someone and cutting your wrists is all a negative to get rid of your problems. The world is a harsh place, get over it. The world is a negative place. You're right. However, shouldn't we offer comforting words and suggestions for the person with the problem? If we just be cruel at them, it could persuade them to do it again. The bully wasn't doing the right thing. He was saying "Ha! You have a very bad problem, and I will take advantage of it by insulting you!" If I show him how much it offended us, it will either make him back off, or persuade him to do it more. In my case, the bully chose choice B.

It's like drugs and alcohol. Both sides are trying to stop. If your friend was addicted to drugs and/or alcohol, wouldn't you want to help him instead of insulting him? One time, my mom found a stray cat in our woods. She is allergic to animals, so she was pretty brave to take it into our house. She bathed it, made it a place to sleep, and fed it some food and water. We named her Angel. Sadly, the cat died the next morning. It was pretty sad.
