I want Sonic to win, but he'll face Master Chief in the second round so that will knock him out right away. I'm waiting for the showdown between Mario and Master Chief. It'll be interesting to see who moves on (assuming both make it).

I saw this contest on Gamespot and thought it would be cool to post it here. Basically Gamespot has been compiling a list of some of the biggest and best game hero's in all games up to this point. They have layed it out in a tournament style, and will hold polls of its users to see who would win in a contest. If you register for an account, you can make your own bracket to see how they match up. Though you can keep track of your choices without an account, it is convenient to have them saved on Gamespots site. I myself see Mario and Snake facing off in the final round.

I just got back from my cross country teams time trial. I placed 8th on our team, running 2.5 miles in about 15:52. Only the top 7 were in varsity, so I missed out on varsity for the first race, but since I'm the next runner down I have a good chance of making it up on varsity. I'm exhausted now though. :?

It's because the Confederacy supported slavery during the Civil War. They flew this flag to represent their united views, with slavery and racism being some of the most prevalent. The negative view expanded from that.

It's a runescape meme. :) Probaly why its not funny at all, and makes me want to kill anyone who uses it. Some memes are funny though, I prefer the lesser known ones because they just seem much more random, the well-known ones can also be funny in certain curcumstances though :P Well known meme's are only funny when they are used in the perfect situation. You've seen it used enough that you can immediatly tell if it is used correctly.

The game is a part of my life now. Whenever I think about the game I have to say I lost the game. It bugs me if I don't say it. Since I was reminded of it, I lost the game. :cry:

The Wii did recieve a few new play modes after World at War was released, so Treyarch may still send support after the game comes out, but I highly doubt it. The modes were Hardcore FFA and Team Stock (I'm not sure what the exact name is but it is the one life/no perks mode).

Don't turn this into a funny pictures thread ok guys? I like meme's. It's kind of cool how the whole internet community can recognize a completely random item and turn it into a part of the internet culture. The Rick Roll has got to be the most publicized meme to date. They do get old, but when you come across a new one they can be quite entertaining. I really like the Philosorapter and the Courage Wolf (or w/e his name is) meme's.

Well moderators were never picked at RANDOM :lol: But as the posters above me have said, we have now had two instances where we opened up the moderator positions for application. We put up global announcements and if you were interested in the position, you could apply to be a moderator. The applications were thoroughly reviewed and the users announced in this thread were the ones chosen. The traditional method of choosing moderators and crew is through the current staff picking or nominating them. If Mods are not picked at Random then this thread is lying and useless?? I suggested an update here: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=90&t=804939 but nothing ever came of it.
