How can you call the game a failure if you haven't even been there in a while to check it?? Worlds 2, 6 (quite good) and 9 were easy for me to get a game, and 9 dropped off later in the day (1 am for you Yanks), I switched to World 6 and got straight into a game. just saying what i heard plus I didn't find it that fun anyway.

from what I've been hearing (not that I've actually been myself in a while) the game pretty much dead but I don't know there might still be some poeple who still play it.

With the release of this new mini game which I've heard is another failure like barb. assault. Just wondering what everyones favorite and least favorite mini-games are? Just kind of interested in seeing what people think. Favorite: Barrows of course! - I like the fact that its risky yet, very reward especially if you know what your doing. Just a great mini game in general and I have yet to see a flaw in it. Least Favorite: Castle Wars - Unlike most people I'm not a big fan of this game. Games last way too long and take way too long to start with not that great rewards. There are also just a lot of problems with the game in general such as this thing they've done with the rocks. Could be a great mini-game, I think its a great idea just needs to be improved a lot.

i heard before that it doesn't count but I don't know from experience or anything so I'm not sure

i'm experiencing a weird glitch where I have to double click everything. For example if i want to message a friend normally I would just click on the the name and message them now I have to click on the name from which a pop up comes up and I have to click "message PERSON" just to get to the message screen. Well it is like this for many of the aspects of the game and everything is normal outside of the game. As you can imagine this is incredibly annoying so just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this or if anyone has any ideas on how i could fix it?

when you examine the crack shortcut in the dwarven mines it says "just another crack in the wall" possibly a Pink Floyd reference. Considering their a British company I wouldn't doubt it either.

i have 60 prayer and that seems to work nicely but its up to you to decide. :P pm me sometime can always use more people to do barrows with.

So your saying you can do barrows a billion times with 75 deaths and 300 minds, not possible, and IF it was, then barrows items would go down by like 50% because every one would be doing barrows with only 75 slayer darts no but I started off with 500 deaths and 2k minds and now have 800 deaths and 6k minds after 200+ runs. (not to mention the deaths I've gained and sold)

And what weapon will you be using when you no longer have to train strength? If you feel it's overrated, then I hope you remember this thread then and still use your d scimmy instead of the whip. No matter where you go, be it CW, PC or training att or def, almost everybody (especially the high cb levels) will be using a whip. The only time a whip owner doesn't use it is when training str. Why? Because it's the best wep in the game. So it really doesn't matter whether you think people overrate it or not. Of course I am going to use whip when I no longer have to train strength that was never part of my argument and I completely agree that whip is a great weapon. I just don't think it lives up to the hype its been given, thats all.

good alternative if you don't have 55 slayer but I gain more runes then I lose from chests when i use slayer dart plus it hits harder.

First of all to all people who say i'm jealous because I cannot afford are just plain wrong because I do in fact own a whip (along with full guthans and ahrims). I just haven't used it in months because I am currently strength to 99. In this entire thread I have never denied what a great weapon the whip is. It is stronger and more accurate then a d scim. All I was trying to prove is that people put it up on a pedestal and pretty much worship this weapon and I do not feel that it deserves such a strong following because of the previous points I have listed. That is the only point I was trying to make, the whip is a great weapon I just think that it is somewhat overrated when you look at what everyone thinks about it.

Thought about that but d scim also has a horrible special :P

Torags just made sense for my argument because it costs around the same amount as a whip and has much better defense then rune. Nothing special particularly about torags just seemed to fit well in my argument.

It takes 15 hours of straight combat to break and by that time i'm sure anyone can make the 200k + to fix it. Also I have never denied that whip is a great weapon I just think that people put it on a very high pedestal when it doesn't deserve to be regarded in such a light.

i've always got a lot of these especially when i teleport from weird places like blue drags. O well i kinda like it free laws.

Probably going to get flamed for this because so many people are in love with there whips but at least listen to my argument before you attempt a retort. Reason #1 - No Strength Training As you can see from my stats I am a very heavy strength trainer. This therefore is my biggest problem with the whip, the fact that one cannot train strength with this weapon effectively. This is not to say whip does not have its advantages when training attack or defense but not being able to train strength effectively is a big problem in my opinion. Reason #2 - D Scim From my personal experience use both whip and d scim I have found that whip only increases my max hit by 1 and I hit relatively as often with both weapons. This therefore brings price into the equation where whip go for around 1.9mill at the moment and d scim can be bought for 100k. This is a 1.8mill difference being payed for a weapon that only hits 1 damage better. Reason #3 - People It really makes me made when I see level 70's and even a few 80's who there soul goal in this game is to own a whip. They save up all their money for months and finally can afford it yet they don't have a decent set of armor to complement such a weapon. I personally would much rather spend 2 mill on torags, d scim, and dds then a whip with full rune. Well thats my two cents on why I feel whips are incredibly overrated feel free to post comments and rebuttal my argument I will not be affended by any comments made.

Yea I laughed when i saw that too, there was quite a few of them in the new quest can't remember anymore though.

1 in 500 is not that bad i can live with that thanks for all the input. If anyone has done a statistical analysis on this I would really like to see the data on it.
