i cant answer the fist questions but mage or range is only calculated in when its ur highest combat skill (so ur mage or ranges based) -
or from the apothecary

lol and jagex was too lazy to add soul and blood runes after they made the abyss so they kept it in when they made it lol

d scimmy is usually the best- its 100k at most and u need monkey madness to wield

i think its still possible to do it without doin the quests- its just a little harder

u need an axe a machette, and radimus notes to get in(and the clue scroll and things like tht) to get in, u can only get radimus nots from starting legends

idk where those r but if u have a lot of trading sticks(or shilo gems to co-op trade) u can cut mahogany/teak in the tai bwanno village(not sure on spelling)

u can still hally them but i wouldnt advise it... there t no obstacles

tht would take a loooong time to kill soemthin... it would probably die from old age b4 u killed it

fire giants in waterfall dungeon!... a little hard to hally but its possible and very profitable if u can do it

lol tht is sad... 40k for a whip lol i think the black body, the whip, and the beserker the general store price is equal to the low alch price and hi alching is worth 3/2 more gold so technicaly it does depend on the hi alch value
