  1. Spent quite a while on this...but that could be due to the fact that I dont' do landscapes :P .
  2. http://www.goodtutorials.com is a great tutor
  3. Working on my entry for the sig part right now. It's looking pretty good imo 8)
  4. Going to provide design services. Thanks for rating :D

    Sig please

    Kitty looks familiar :P
  6. Do you mean an actual graphic artist or do you just want to learn how to make sigs and such for this board? They entail a lot of different things so try not to get them confused. I took a graphic arts class at school and we spent time designing things such as cereal boxes, soap boxes, business cards, t shirts, etc..
  7. Okay, the splash works now :P . You can click on it
  8. I really like the text on the second one. The first seems like it could have been great just didn't end up right. As for the third one, I just don't like it.
  9. Heh then don't get into digital art. 6 hours isn't unusual..
  10. Heh, Nice slip, at last I know who he is  Damn, I dont see why it took me so long... So yeah.. Nice sig, it certaintly is unique, I like it. I could use a tad more colour in my opinion.. Heh...the secret is out 8) . Poor danabis.. As for the next one, maybe not so much black/empty space?
  11. In my opinion, it's still unrealistic because you don't know the source is there, and you can't see it.. Perhaps if you just zoomed out a bit or something you could preserve the overall integrity of the peice, and still show what's going on. Also, something I just noticed.. Given where the lighting is, the rust on the gutter seems to be gouging in rather than going out. It also looks rather "Photoshop-bevelish", if you know what I mean. I have to agree with Wyrm here. It almost seems that you took a natural scene and threw in lights that would normally be there just so we could see the whole thing, since we can't see the light source. And the rust doesn't look very "bevelish" as wyrm stated.
  12. I finally got around to doing the splash for my site that's slowly but surely getting done. The render = horrible. I already know that :P . But I decided just to keep it because it's not the focus of the image anymore like I had originally intended and seems to serve it's purpose. And yes, there's no way on the splash to enter the site yet. http://www.meltcore.com Thanks
  13. Awesome work dude. Can't see anything wrong with it..
  14. Ok, sorry but I'm a little confused. Do we pretty much just make sigs for you? Anything we want? Because you specified "cool text" but that doesnt' seem to be the focus anymore as I read through...
  15. Looks good but I don't think it's quite up to par with the rest of your work.
  16. Do you want a logo or a banner? They are two seperate things. A banner is usually a larger version of a sig. A logo is usually something simple consisting of less than 3 colors and has a defined shape representing something..
  17. You've probably listed some but I'll say everyone I know: Adobe Photoshop Adobe Illustrator Imageready Jasc Paint Shop Pro Maya Lightwave 3ds Max Bryce Cinema 4d Rhino 3d Vue D'Esprit Terragen Poser Free Programs: Gimp Blender (3d) Paint (comes with windows) All I can think of right now...
