Exactly people, for instance, party hats are 'skillcapes' of wealth for members. Of course, F2P players don't have that much money and most people only sell party hats on world 2 (P2P). So, they take this really good F2P armor and put all sorts of flashy stuff on it. Jagex decides to make it 3 god armors and make it member's only. Due to the reasons stated above, F2P is not really going to buy a party hat, right? The armor (rune) is good, but getting Saradomin gilded or Guthix guilded is like someone buying hundreds of fancy ornaments to put on a Christmas tree instead of just having the tree.
